There's going to be more to this comic than just comedy. You can tell that Gwen goes through some stuff, lots of doubt. Even the holiday special showed her being very sad and alone once Christmas, until she made her friends. She was missing her family, cuz she's been ripped from their universe.
It is overshadowed if you haven't read the comic, but I'd you have you see that Gwenpool is good and has the potential to be better.

I don't know, it could be made to look like an AR15 purely for marketing purposes.
But expecting actual functionality for every drawing of a gun is a bit limiting, I think. You force the artists into thinking about guns a lot and not all of them care much about guns in their cape comics.
And you make it harder to actually have a fantastic arsenal for your fantastic heroes, if you insist on the guns to actually work as drawn. Sure, it's cool if you have actual designs in a comic, but not all comics should be required to have that. I would expect a gritty Punisher book to have realistic guns, but Gwenpool? I am already very happy that Gurihiru are halfway accurate on her RPG7. At least about as accurate as on their people.

That you should move on and try to read something else - books, comics for adults (which to exist, shop around) or perhaps technical literature - history, to expand your horizon and find there's no need to get your panties in a bunch because a small segment of comic publishers write/draw something you personally don't like.

This was a more-or-less unexpected offshoot of a variant cover campaign where there was suddenly a demand for a specific product that Marvel simply delivered on. The writer got word of the cancellation after the first issues tanked something fierce and got bitter over it.
That's why the tone of the characters gets considerably worse and more hostile as the book progresses.
This is from the second-to-last issue, before the book completely crawls up its own ass in the post-showdown ending issue.
