And here it is, Anons. The duo you've all been waiting for, the greatest buddy team in comics, POWER MAN AND IRON FIST!
>>83891300
Man, it feels like it's been forever since we've seen Luke punch through a wall yelling, hasn't it?
Colleen's still a badass. No questions, just scalding hot coffee to the face.
Reason #1 why I bothered to storytime Deadly Hands despite hating it (the storytiming, not the story). It comes up occasionally.
Would you look at Danny here and guess that he's no older than 22?
For those of you who weren't here earlier to see just how durable he is, here's Luke cage taking six bullets from a revolver without a scratch (I'm not /k/ so I can't get any more details than "a revolver").
And here's Misty showing off just how strong that bionic arm of hers is.
So it's often been asked who would win in a fight between Danny Rand and Luke Cage.
Let's find out, shall we?
Wow, that was a short fight.
Yep, looks like Danny wins.
Uh, never mind. Shit, I think this is the best example of his durability so far.
For those of you who remember the end of the Iron Fist storytimes (which aren't in the archives anymore), Bushmaster is the man that Misty Knight was going undercover against for a while.
For those of you who weren't paying attention last issue.
I wish it was revealed that those two generic henchmen in the new Power Man and Iron Fist series were these two chucklefucks.
That was surprisingly easy to find, Misty.
I know how Danny can do this, because of his vague ninja training, but Misty was just a cop. How does she know how to do this crap?
Remember this, Anons. The process that transformed Carl Lucas into Power Man is apparently easily redoable, even if only the doctor knows how to.
And here we go, the official retiteling!
I feel like using evidence that you basically threatened out of a man is legally iffy.
For those of you who don't remember, Claire Temple was Luke's love interest.
... Well, she WAS his love interest.
Man these two are fucking twits. He's having a party to show he's been found innocent, their father a friggen PRISON WARDEN is there congratulating them, but here they are "DIE CRIMINAL SCUM!"
Maybe if your dad is going to turn you in, you might be wrong? You damn fool.
$50 dollar nails
Fucking hell, I'm glad I'm not a woman. $500 that often, and in the 70's? That's friggen mental.
These two are basically what people who hate the Punisher think the Punisher is like.
>"Kurt and I had a perfectly marvelous time. Quite a number of them, in fact."
So did Nightcrawler ever have a girlfriend names Amanda?
>"Discus and I have a sacred mission to perform, and anyone who tries to stop us gets what he deserve!"
>shoots a cop
And you know this dumbass still thinks he's the good guy.
And that's it for tonight.
This is why I hated Deadly Hands, it took forever to do those issues. This? I did our regularly scheduled stories in under an hour.
And now to finish up some of yesterday's stories.
And most of this one-shot was the two Daugters of the Dragon stories from last night. Now we're doing the one Daughters of the Dragon story that one Anon really wanted, with the vampires.
Also, who the hell is Lady Daemon?
>>83892847
Most women don't go to that expensive of nail salons, and most only go to them if they're going to like, a wedding or something. This woman is a model, and a pretty vain one at that.
>>83893319
>This woman is a model, and a pretty vain one at that.
I didn't want to spoil any more of her character, I just wanted to make a joke about how absurdly expensive nails could be.
>>83891565
He looked young when Nebres was drawing him, at least.
>>83893378
I just don't think Byrne can do teenagers.
And now you see why that one Anon REALLY wanted this story done.
>vampires in Marvel can survive in sunlight as long as they're barefoot and don't leave their homeland
Dat topless Colleen in the last panel
>>83893349
Oh yeah, no doubt about that.
Remember when vampires could turn into more than just bats?
>>83893278
Is her shirt made of gauze? You can see the areolas.
>>83892948
Amanda Sefton was a longtime girlfriend of his.
>"Who's going to protect the neighborhood?"
You fuckers live in New York City. You've got more superheroes than politicians.
>>83893684
Did she look like that? Because Claremont may have just confirmed in a different book he got some.
And speaking of tits and ass, beach scene.
And join us for a story that was already shown yesterday.
>>83892873
So Joss Whedon's Punisher?
>>83892099
Cage did 20 years for pushing scag? What's scag?
>>83893733
Yes she did look like that, and yes they banged a lot.
>>83891300
AWW YEAH
And the rest of that one-shot is an interview featuring the creative staff, Gray and Palmiotti, of their solo series. But that doesn't occur for decades/months, so we'll skip it and go to the Deadly Hands Special.
And nobody said otherwise, so we're doing the color version.
Going by the sons of the tiger here, I really should've done this a lot earlier.
>>83891565
My favorite comic couple.
>>83894152
So...he's a guy with a hammer in his underwear?
>>83894217
Stick around and you'll see their high points (first kiss after Danny earns back the Iron Fist) and their low points (breaking up after a false pregnancy)
>>83891353
It's nice to see Colleen in something less ridiculous than that "hero" suit she was wearing in the DHoKF stories.
When do we hit White Jumpsuit? Just in the third H4H?
>>83894428
2nd, the Gray/Palmonti run.
>>83891300
Y'know, I've half forgotten what was going on with Luke when we last saw him- He was in Chicago, right? Trying even more pathetically to establish a third identity?
>>83891565
John Byrne does seem to draw him as like 40.
>>83894479
Exactly. Presumable he got discovered by Bushmaster.
>>83891709
That is a well composed last three panels.
>>83891768
Well, we at least know who loses- Whoever owns the house across from Danny's.
>Whoever owns the house across from Danny's.
They're in New York, they've probably got superhuman insurance.
>>83891830
>No fighting technique
Wasn't Luke supposed to be a pretty capable, if untrained, brawler? Punches instead of knives, etc?
And >>83894655 was supposed to be a response to >>83894611
>>83892099
Well they can't be Shades and Comanche cuz Shades is dead and Comanche is part of Flashmob (along with a bunch of other H4H villains).
Maybe Shades appearing on the Netflix show will warrant a revival.
>>83894675
Yeah, but he's still a brawler, and compared to one of the most skilled martial artists on the planet, Luke's still just flailing his arms around.
>>83894688
>Well they can't be Shades and Comanche cuz Shades is dead and Comanche is part of Flashmob (along with a bunch of other H4H villains).
Oh right, I forgot about the Shadowland series.
And that's it for the Deadly Hands special.
After this is just a color reprinting of the first issue, which I won't mind leaving alone, unless someone objects.
If so, I'll be seeing you.
>>83894768
>Oh right, I forgot about the Shadowland series.
Forgetting Marvel events from the last 10 years is usually for the best.
>>83892493
I want Danny, Luke, Misty and Colleen all reunited in one book again working together. We haven't gotten that in a LONG time.
>>83894935
Given that Bendis wrote most of Luke's appearances during that span, we're in for some serious Storytimes of Pain in a few weeks.
>>83894904
Fu Manchu: Master Troll.
>>83895004
Yeah, Bendis's continuing Black-Man saga is all kinds of bland to awful.
>>83895267
>Bat-Woman
>Robot-Man
The fucked up thing is, those aren't that off.
>>83895825
I don't see how Invincible gets off calling other people's names generic.
>>83892403
That'll straighten your hair, Cage.
>>83892560
What? He gave that tape out of the goodness of his heart and the desire to do the right thing. Gadget-Man is the literal salt of the Earth, overflowing with the milk of human kindness. There were four witnesses!
bump for hire
>>83894999
I just got a thought. Remember that awesome Punisher Beat 'em up in the 90s? Hot damn Capcom should have done one with those 4.
