They were wrong from the get go. They shouldve been working together to make it an actual indie animation studio.
I get it. It was basically a club house they could all go to and work near each other. But if they turned it into a actual, come in 9-5, work on one project together, they couldve made something of it and pumped out some great stuff regularly. Start making some money, bring more people on so you can work on multiple things etc They were doomed to failure with a wishy washy schedule and everyone doing their own thing, progress was never going to be made. If they regulated projects and jobs? Couldve become something sustainable for them, like Studio Yoko or whatever.
As it is they all wanted to do their own thing, people stopped bothering going to the place preferring to work at home, and it fizzled out.
