The comic has started to call it's title character out on its bullshit and I'm tempted to say that was the plan from the beginning because the other main character is clearly more sympathetic, but she still has spent a lot of time being zany for the amusement of the audience which is not for me.

In fairness, normally when there's a main character who the audience finds annoying but the creator dotes on, /co/ tends to assume they're either the author's fetish or a self-insert. It may or may not be true but you can definitely get that feeling from a lot of webcomics or even when Bendis writes Luke Cage.

Cassiopeia Quinn truly is the worst part of Cassiopeia Quinn so far. Hopefully development like you pointed out sticks and is expounded upon so she can be made more bearable as a main character.
At the moment Vrax feels more like the main character but a lot of the time were stuck with Quinn who feels more like a quirky side character with how much depth she has.
