Righty tighty, lefty loosy.
The conflict dynamic in MLaaTR is an upbeat young girl fighting off hordes of cronies sent by a distant, foreboding older woman who implicitly has an extremely high power-level that isn't revealed for the majority of the series because she just keeps sending cronies instead.
>tfwthis is eerily similar to a theme in the concept I'm working on right now, and I'm just realizing MLaaTR may have subconsciously influenced me even though I haven't watched it in at least a decade
Maybe I could say I got a similar dynamic from Kill la Kill, but I've thought about that before and didn't get nearly the same kind of kneejerk instinct I got from realizing it with MLaaTR.
Sh-should I rewatch it?

Sorry, I'd rather the other yellow empress of an intergalactic species of inorganic lifeforms.I think they'd get along, chatting about the little earth-born abomination of their kind that keeps fucking up their empire expanding plans.

Trick question. She doesn't let it be optional.
