DC Rebirth's first Crossover - Batman, Detective, Nightwing join forces
>The story – "pitting the heroes of Gotham against a mystery-shrouded foe from the Dark Knight’s past!" – will begin in September with Batman #7, and continue in Nightwing #5 and Detective Comics #941. Supergirl scribe Steve Orlando will co-write the crossover regular Batman writer Tom King, Nightwing writer Tim Seeley, and Detective Comics writer James Tynion IV.

This definitely sounds much more like a Batwoman thing than anyone else. Fighting monsters isn't usually the Bat-Family's bag unless you count shit like Croc or Strange's Monster Men.

No one's saying that Batman should only work alone (Hell, he's already involved with a team in Detective Comics.) The problem is that you don't want to become what the Superman comics became in the 90s where everything requires a bunch of other obligatory shit to know what's going on.
