Not really, they've been pretty consistent with his faults. Chat Noir's just not careful when fighting, unless he's with Ladybug or the method of action that should be taken is obvious, otherwise, he doesn't take the time to figure out what's going on around him, and so just tends to attack his opponents blindly, which leads to the regular results.
It's not bad wriring, people need to accept the fact that characterization doesn't stop once the characters put on their suits. They're still the same person. Usagi didn't magically become competent once she transformed into Sailor Moon either.

Marinette/Ladybug getting akumatized is probably the thing I want to see most from the show. The idea of this nice, sweet girl turning bad is the hottest fucking thing ever. She then uses her newfound confidence to REALLY go after Adrien, not taking no for an answer, etc.
And if she gets akumatized as Marinette, then Adrien would have to become Ladybug and save the day... while wearing her costume, of course.

The thing is I don't see how this could be resolved without Adrien learning Ladybug identity, unless with a cop out with Master Fu intervening or something. I mean, Chat need Ladybug to catch Akuma, and would need to know that he have to free Marinette to free Ladybug.

The episodes with plot related shit tar you have to see are the origin episodes, Jacakady, and Volpina (though Volpina is one of the weakest episode of the series as a whole). Despite the fact that the series is supposed to be able to air out of order there is obviously an order to the episodes.

But the only problem is that there's no conceivable to do that anymore, since Sabrina her only friend had been akumatized and attacked her, she herself was akumatized, got attacked multiple times by those she's wronged. So we've essentially lost any real avenue for Chloe to realize that she has to change. Because if her attitude putting her in life and death situations and hurting her best friend doesn't make her realize her mistakes then you can't give a believable reason for why she would.
