I actually enjoy both comics quite a lot. Sure there are some problems but i am quite suprised it is not more popular here considering all the waifu and daughteru material that can be found in these comics.

I feel part of it was because in 70-Seas he was free to explore an entire world while Latchkey Kingdom is restricted to Hilla. It may also have partially to do with Latchkey Kingdom focusing primarily on kids rather than adults.

was anybody confused by the 70 seas ending? I just finished it last night and it seems to have ended pretty limply, the extras after the last page of the chapter seem to implygrin is doing like menial labor somewhere now, did grin just end up going along with their agreement or what?Does the extended version explain it any better?

The Extra after the chapter is depictingGrin burying some of his bodies presumably after a battle. Nothing really relating to the plot. Grin did not agree to the contract from what I could tell. Seeing as Nicol has turned up in Latchkey Kingdom under another name chances are that he might show up eventually.

It's not so much a question of durability as much as it is a question of how much time/pleasure you're getting out of your purchase.
I probably would see Bad Rats as roughly equivalent to a burger, since it's maybe neat for 10-15 minutes before losing its novelty.
But hey, maybe you love Bad Rats way more than I do. And maybe the comic doesn't even seem that interesting enough to make you curious about the archive. It just isn't audacious to ask someone to pay $8 for over 800 pages of content.
