How many Bruce Lee issues is this now?
So I first read that second story as Dragon Quest, and got super excited for no freaking reason.
... Why is he naked?
>>83815956
This is issue 26, so... 26?
>>83816014
No, I mean actual Bruce Lee issues. Not "The next Bruce Lee!" issues, which there were many.
I'm curious why they have so many characters in White Tiger's stories throw out complete spanish sentences. It's like how in Bravely Second there's characters who just randomly speak French because it's foreign.

Going back counting...six, but it feels like a lot more.
Okay Hector, I know that sounded profound in your head, but it really is kind of lame.
>>83815967
Nope, it's Swordquest. Although it is interesting for being martial arts story set in Korea, don't see a lot of those.
Oh great, even more love triangle nonsense.
>>83815981
Is Abe naked?
I swear, cut out the dialogue and she looks like she's trying to be threatening in that 3rd panel (but failing hilariously at doing so)
>>83816173
Yep. Gotta give some beefcake for those who aren't into this for the martial arts.
Uh, comic? The prologue doesn't usually count as "Part One"
>>83816077
They're probably emphasizing that he's a Hispanic hero, which was very uncommon at the time. I'm wondering why they keep saying 'dios' instead of 'dio'.
>>83816133
It would've been better if he just wordlessly saw his reflection in the mirror then smashed it.
>>83816204
>Death and a Game Called Handball!
>>83816262
Dios is Spanish. Dio is Italian.
>>83816569
>School is for browns!
I feel like that probably means something, but I have no idea what.
>>83816668
Even the other characters don't get why Hector has to yell everything in Spanish then repeat it in English.
And let's finish the night off with yet ANOTHER Bruce Lee issue.
You lost a page over here >>83817628
And that's it for the night, Anons. Sorry I wasn't as snarky, I'm literally falling asleep at my computer. And I do mean literally, I did conk out a few times.
>>83817664
THIEF! HE STOLE MY PAGE!
>>83817713
Oh man, we're getting the page swapping glitch again? That's hilarious.
>>83817696
Good night, anon.

To any readers wondering who "The Tribe" is in the credits for this story, the Tribe was an artist collective which drew stories for Marvel on a very short deadline, sort of like the Crusty Bunkers. But while the Crusty Bunkers was composed mostly of artists who previously or currently worked for Neal Adams' Continuity Associates studio, the Tribe was composed entirely of Filipino freelancers. The exact membership of the Tribe has never been definitively established, but what is known for sure is that they were "led" by Jonah Hex co-creator Tony DeZuniga and some of its members were Alfredo Alcala, Yong MontaƱo, and Star-Lord co-creator Steve Gan.
