This is it /co/.
This is my favorite comic panel of all time.
Post yours.
Hard Mode: Single Panel Only
>>83811712
They look evil
>>83811712
>Batman rape face
>Wonder-woman voodoo face
>Superman black face.
>>83811712
>WW: "Who the fuck are you?"
>Superman: "You're interrupting us"
>Batman: "My parents are dead"
>>83811756
They look like boogeymen, yeah. This is bad?
I understand if you think Superman should never look so sinister, but WW looks so beautifully otherworldly and
OH
MY
GOD
>dat Batman
>>83811712
Batman actually looks scary here
Wondy looks like an ugly whore while superman seems to lean on "i hear you" more than "i see you"
>>83811826
Why?
>>83811756
Hm, underwhe-
>filename
Do ho ho
>>83811846
A tried and true classic. 10/10
>>83811826
Yeah, but, CAN lightning strike twice?
>>83811712
>>83811872
It is a pretty threadbare reason to like a character, really.
I still dont know where this is from
>>83811850
>ugly whore
Why?
It's because she's a woman, isn't it, /pol/?
>>83811756
>>83811825
It's amazing in context, this is from the perspective of Jonathan Kent, Pre-52 Clark's son, who has been forbidden by his father to use his latent powers in the open and is being kept in the dark about the Justice League
So of course when you're spying on your father past your bedtime, Wonder Woman and Batman would appear to be boogeymen beyond your comprehension...
>>83811913
Speed's alright, I just really like the panel honestly
>>83811712
>>83811931
How's the new series by the way?
>>83811945
I think it's the lips. They're a little too prominent.
Here's mine.
>>83811957
>>83811913
Oh wait never mind I'm retarded and misunderstood your post
>>83811948
Good lord, can you imagine looking out your window and actually seeing Batman for the first time? In a world where he isn't the most popular fictional character but, at best, an urban legend?
I'd swear up and down he was there to skin me alive.
>>83811712
>This is my favorite comic panel of all time.
Why?
>>83811948
By the way, how's DC doing? I haven't kept up with them, but I heard they're going back to Pre-52?
Is that true?
>>83811979
I love it, but there's one better from Morrison's run.
It's from an issue further explaining exactly what the fuck happened in Final Crisis, and it's young Bruce Wayne looking between his parents' headstones at the reader, and you can tell he sees Darkseid already, there in the future, the incarnation of the evil he will dedicate his life to destroying.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
>>83811929
Marvel Zombies.
>>83812068
>>83811995
Dick-suckin' lips are ugly now?
>>83811857
just thought it was a mindblow the first time I read flashpoint. I hadnt seen the animation or kept up with comic news when the new52 was hitting so, this was one of my fave scenes
>>83812021
I love it when artists portray Batman from other people's view less like a guy in a suit but more like "The Shape"
>>83812000
Who the fuck is the KKK lich? He looks like a beast.
>>83812055
No, but there is a sliver of truth to it.
They're working old elements back in, like Wally is back, and pre-flashpoint Clark and Lois, the JSA is coming back, and more to come.
Read DC Rebirth, you'll get the gist.
>>83811974
Didn't read it :^)
>>83812037
Because they're terrifying and weird and beautiful and I guess it feels like superheroes seen through the Mignola lens. I'm being hyperbolic of course - this comic just came out today - but good god is that panel beautiful.
My favorite Batman issue
>>83812128
>>83812107
>>83812068
This arc was a work of high art.
>>83811712
Get some taste
>>83812138
I've visualized a ton of DC fanfiction in my day (I'm shit at drawing) and I always make Batman more of a sudden walking calamity than any kind of man.
I don't understand criticisms of him that criminals would not be afraid as they'd know he doesn't kill.
a) They wouldn't know that, not for sure.
b) It's still a fucking linebacker gymnast in a fetish suit suddenly maiming you.
>>83812206
He eventually got to see those Wonder titties.
>>83812139
That's Kulan Gath. Spider-man and Red Sonja beat him, and he came back for revenge, taking over Manhattan.
I love Gleason's art.
>>83812014
Life and Death of Superman may get picked on, but few pages have really summed what hell it is to a saviour.
>>83812314
What is he?
>>83812286
POST
MORE
KIRBY
I don't think I ever actually saved it, but I really like that panel of superman, nightwing, and the cop in the park
>>83812402
>Citizens of Gotham tear down Amusment Mile due to it being decrepit and out of use
>Joker busts out of Arkham and decides to head home
>All his shit is gone, decides to relocate to the suberbs
gg gotham
>>83812340
I don't think I ever read it, but holy shit that sounds good.
>>83812354
Final Crisis was seriously underrated.
>>83812389
That';
>>83812467
Was Kirby *always* on acid?
>Understood.
>Still Watching.
>Just in case.
END.
>>83812342
He's a wizard from Conan's time. His soul is in an amulet. When someone wears the amulet he possesses their body.
>>83812469
>Hasn't read Life and Death of Superman
This shit was so rediculous
>>83812492
This was amazing, because Bruce didn't suddenly treat him like a pariah.
>>83812464
>Joker mini in the vein of current Vision
Fund it
>>83812492
Did he put his hand through that guys fucking skull?
>>83812469
That parts good but he's saving the biggest 90s dweeb there
>>83812542
Wait, Conan is canon in Marvel?
>>83812536
Only effective visualization of facemask Joker.
>>83812571
someday
>>83811907
Poor Saint Walker.
>>83812554
>Waid style dead girlfriend Doom
Wow
>>83812596
Jesus.
OP here. Gonna see Zootopia for the first time but please post more!
>>83812614
Spider-Man showed up in the Marvel Transformers comic too.
>>83812619
Is he fucking retarded?
How did Namor the SUB-MARINER not realize people who live underwater would die without water?
>>83812614
Yeah, when they had the license back in the day. You should read the "What If Thor met Conan?"
>>83812681
You dare question Namor?!!
>>83811931
Sauce?
>>83812681
You have to understand, Namors rage agains the people of the surface goes beyond all rational thought. He was almost like reverse Black Manta.
He tried to destroy Coney Island because they dared have fun while his (unknown) people suffered at the hands of a completely different group of air breathers. Then when that didn't work he tried to flood New York
>>83812768
Bruce always blames his corny-ass ideas on Robin.
Does anyone have the barrel one
>>83812823
All Namor's plans fall apart; he just can't get ahead.
>>83812823
He's succeeded in flooding New York a couple times.
Kinda funny to think 616 considers Ultimatum just another day.
>>83812681
>>83812823
>You have to understand, Lanamor really hates those surface dwellers
>>83812849
Was that during Maximum Carnage?
>>83812933
Yep.
>>83812913
>It's okay guys, the president gave him a pardon, it was all a big misunderstanding!
>But my grandmother drowned in the flood
>Shut up Tommy he's fighting for our freedom you nazi bastard
>>83812933
yeah
ON THE EDGE
>>83812049
Where is this even from? I keep seeing it posted
I get rock hard every time I read it.
>>83812960
That page was so invigorating, I mean, it was just fucking right.
>>83813004
What's this one from?
>>83811712
The bottom panel can be ignored, if necessary.
>>83813046
Maximum Carnage as well. The entire lead up to that moment was perfect.
>>83811712
Haha! Sarcasm!
Surprised this hasn't been posted yet.
>>83812021
>>83812138
On that note...
>>83811872
Thought that said negros, not heroes.
>>83813204
Did Marvel sue?
>>83812593
The guy taught him how to do it.
And then Damian proceeded to redeem his daughter, who proceeded to friendzone him.
>>83813227
Those ears though.
>>83811712
>>83812988
Is this an actual urban legend? That a randomized Rubik's cube cannot be solved in under 18 moves?
>>83812951
I want to masturbate to this but I'm afraid there will be a shitting demon or something in the corner and it will subconsciously ruin my sexuality forever.
>>83812138
I remember their was a cool bit in Kelly and Manke's JLA where "The Truth" got broken and suddenly any random thing that people believed in became true, such as the Earth being flat or one of the Indian gods waking up and destroying the Earth.
And one of the persistent beliefs was that Batman didn't really exist, or that he wasn't really human, and as a result Batman was constantly shifting between these horrifying, ghostly appearances.
>>83812768
>>83812842
As if it wasn't Batman who began branding everything with his fursona.
>>83812768
I just realized.
Isn't Bruce kinda a... 35 year-old Chuuni?
>>83812726
Shit, how good of a fighter is Tony?
>>83813258
Does Marvel own the copyright to Norse Mythology?
>>83812973
>where do you live?
>on the edge.
fucking lost
>>83813317
>A land-based Nazi Deathstar
How do people not notice the construction of these things? SHIELD has a fucking shit spy network if this was at all a surprise when it showed up.
>>83813297
God that book was so fucking good.
2 different pages in it made me cry.
>>83813435
This was easily the best issue of Johns' Aquaman.
>>83813437
Man, those guys were pretty cool.
It's a shame their ongoing was given to Jurgens.
>>83813444
SHIELD exists to keep the American Helicarrier industry afloat.
>>83812080
>>83812055
Yes... and No...
Rebirth revealed that New 52 wasn't a full-on reboot of the timeline but rather a tampering with the last 10 or so years (commited by some force which may be Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen or something trying to imitate him) which Pre-52 Clark was immune to as he comes from an alternate timeline that was isolated by Brainiac so he could force him to do battle with other alternate timelines...
>>83811931
God yes
>>83811872
Amen
>>83813491
That is it. Oh my god I've cried over that specific issue easily a dozen times. Shit like this make these silly cape comics into true inspirational art.
Batman taught me that through the fires of tragedy you can forge yourself into something more and I've absolutely used that in real life.
>>83813314
It is, but it works so well in context. "You only have to do the impossible once" and all that, and that hopeful little Mother Box PING.
>>83812988
The art for the issue was horrible.
>>83813662
I still don't really know what that did though...
Was it just summon Nix?
The very last line that the Silver Age Superman ever said:
or this moment
>>83813297
>I do not know if I can save you
>But I can try
I fucking cried. Here's Galactus, this stoic, lonely, selfish cosmic god that eats planets trying to save the closest thing he had to a friend. Galactus felt touchingly human.

>>83813803
REEEEEEE
>>83813491
That's pretty damn epic.
>>83813561
And now they're retconned into oblivion barring Morrison's "all comics are true" stuff.
Hurts, don't it?
>>83813894
Meh
>>83813566
They could have just made 52 and New Earth two separate universes.
They could have both lived instead of being Frankensteined into a walking corpse of zombie-continuity.
>>83813692
It woke Nix up who couldn't remember being a Monitor.
>>83813736
>Neck-snapping intensifies
>>83813712
>Insert pic of BvS Batman murdering people.
>>83813796
Infinitely based.
I also really like the splash page in issue... 4 of Superman: Secret Identity. It's just Supes floating above this huge frozen arctic landscape with the caption "I find myself watching more sunsets recently" owtte.

>The feels when you learn which superman is under the bandages
>>83813407
depending on the continuity, he's trained with Cap a good bit. probably not enough to be a fantastic fighter by super standards, but a lot better than most people.
>>83814094
I remember reading half of that and finding out that Starman made himself crazy so he could accomplish the mission he went back in time to complete, but I never figured out what that mission was, if he successed, and why he needed to be insane to overcome the grief of accomplishing the mission.
>>83814220
He didn't deserve it.
>>83814316
Fucked the other one up
I really need to give Sandman a re-read.
>>83814295
His mission was to get the lost Legionnaires and ensure that Mon-El seeded the worlds
It's covered in the Kryptonian stuff in the Superman books
>>83814423

yup, in fact he still is, but since the Conan rights are now with a different company they have to be careful with how they reference it
This one. OF ALL TIME.

>>83815194
Yes.
>>83811712
WW's face could be better, but that Batman glare is fucking perfect so i don't mind
>>83814057
same, senpai
>>83812823
It's really too bad that the film rights to Namor are in limbo. I would have loved to have him as a recurring bad guy on Agent Carter.
>>83815611
supposedly Marvel has them back now

What a hero.
I don't have them but I love the spread of the Multiversal supermen coming to fight Mandrakk in Final Crisis and the infinite mass punch * 52 from multiversity.
Two of my favorite ways of showing the bad guy that he's fucked.
>>83812000
I've always loved that Kulan Gath just insists on calling Peter Man-Spider, even after Peter has corrected him.
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Volume 2.
sorry it's a photo, not a scan.

>>83811712
I really like this panel too.
It showed how scary these characters could be from the perspective of a little boy who has a lot to live up to.
Jon Kent will be in his father's shadow and this showed how powerful and big those heroes can seem from up close. It's a lot to live up to.
