I'm aware of those. Interestingly, the One Above All's future showed Peter and MJ had two children, where as Mephisto showed that Peter accepting the deal cost him just the one child...so perhaps the OAA was showing him that he and MJ would work out things even in the post-OMD world instead?

MJ left Peter because she did'nt feel needed, not because she'd had enough, plus she'd been held hostage for almost a year, she made the most of her vacation and came back to him. The reason she's a bitch now is because of a magic spell, otherwise she would have stayed with Peter and raised a family.
Also, try reading her in MC2, where she's totally supportive of her husband and daughter web-swinging, she caves in the 100th issue of Spider-Girl but quickly bounces back and lets her kid web swing again.

Other heroes distrust him and the one thing he has in his life that constantly gives him reason to keep going is the one woman who sticks by him through it all, and the only one who is loyal and knows his secret. She's all he has, how could she possibly not feel needed?
It's not as if, at the time, Felicia was nipping at his heels. Peter's life was shite when MJ left. I don't have any sympathy for her, he needed her and she left him high and dry on his own.
