I mean, I'm aware there is some objectively shitty parts of it (well, most of it), but there are also some truly excellent stories (The Lost Years, The Exile Returns, The Gift, Media Blizzard, Blood Brothers, Revelations, ect) that, to this day, are absolutely still excellent.
That, and I started reading Spidey during the Clone Saga. So it has a nostalgic soft spot for me.

What in particular? Bucky being the Man on the Wall is still the premise behind what he's doing in Thunderbolts, and gets referenced in like every comic he's been in since it happened. New Avengers' last issue referenced Fury having a secret space base somewhere that pumps out those alien LMDs that are as good as life-like and how Duggan is one of them. Fury being The Unseen was shown on the last page of that Fury one-shot they put out a couple months ago. Extermanatrix is going to be showing up as an antagonist in Mighty Thor, so I imagine some of the Dr. Midas and/or The Orb plotthreads will be followed up on there.
Angela is still Thor's sister and her newly created Asgardian connection is still a pretty strong aspect of all of her appearances since then. Silk still has an ongoing and they did a mini recently about Spidey and Silk going back in time to when they were both bitten so it was further cemented in that. Deadpool having killed his parents but not knowing that and trying to figure out who did it was the premise behind the most recent arc of Deadpool. Thor still doesn't have Mjolnir back.
So yes, the effects of OS are still certainly being felt.
