Why, I do believe it's time for some early Silver Age comics!
But enough about me, how's your day been?
Today, we're going to start with the first Silver Age comics of Al Williamson. Course, Al only drew the cover for this issue, but you know me and comic book covers...
All scanners who put shit like their handle and how many pages are in a comic within the filenames: Knock that shit off, nobody cares.
And while you're at it, make the title into an acronym, especially if it's one that's sorta lengthy (15 characters may not sound like much...)

See how easy it is?
Hey Minifig, where do you find all these old comics?
Have you read any of Williamson's Blazing Combat shorts?

As for Blazing Combat, I storytimed the whole run last year, on Flag Day, Remembrance Day and Remembrance Sunday.
Swan drew all the stories in this issue, so I'll post the whole thing for yucks.
That's enough Silver Age for today...
... CC Beck was born 106 years ago last Wednesday...
... Jerry Stiller was 89...
... James Goldstone, who directed two episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series, would've been 85 that day...
... Joan Rivers would've been 83...
... James Darren was 80...
... Alan Scarfe was 70...
... Kathy Baker was 66...
... Scott Adams was 59...
... Frank Grillo was 53...
... JP Manoux was 47...
... Jeff MacNelly died 16 years ago that day...
... and Jack "Jaxon" Jackson died ten years ago.
Well, I'm done for today. I'll be back tomorrow, knock on wood, to give you all some more early Silver Age, as well as the usual stuff.
See you tomorrow...
