Lewis Carroll was a mathematician, that was at the time that they were making advances in the field with things like imaginary numbers and other shit that we take for granted today but that at the time were considered controversial and insane. Ol' Lewis thought that all this was crazy bullshit and wrote Alice in Wonderland, a book in which a girl goes down the rabbit hole and find many impossible and nonsensical things, basically as a diss against the people who supported this ideas.
