It's relatable if you grew up with a bunch of siblings or a million cousins in your house, especially if they were girls. Space Invader? Been there. The chore episode? Been there.
Lincoln, being the middle child, is relatable to both older and younger siblings. There's enough characters that pretty much everybody who watches it can have a favorite/a waifu/a daughteru on the show, and instead of it feeling like they crammed in too many characters, it's the whole point of the show. And they're actually likeable. None of them are irredeemably bratty or bitchy. And they're all color-coded.
The gags are genuinely pretty funny, but none of them are too over-the-top. They all come from character interaction, none of them are thrown in your face or shoved down your throat, and most of them are things that could actually happen, albeit exaggerated, and again, they're relatable. (Seriously, the whole quiet-goth-being-in-the-room-the-whole-time-and-popping-up-from-the-darkness-to-scare-you thing actually happens, as does the sister-thinks-it's-fucking-hilarious-to-fart-under-the-covers-and-dutch-oven-you thing. And so on.) Plus, they're endearing. Even the funniest or grossest gags tend to make you more attached to the characters in TLH.
Lastly, I'd argue that Savino just has talent. Actual talent.

After watching a few episodes I consider it okay but not "really good" I only watched a few episodes of the Loud House too but while Harvey Beaks have a more interesting world the Loud House character interactions resonate more with my own experiences as a child and this is probably the reason why it is getting popular. A difference probably is that Spongebob's popularity is built mainly around how it can make you laugh, like Looney Tunes, not because you really care for the characters or world. Loud House and Harvey Beaks, while still being comedic, also have to balance in other aspects giving less focus and freedom for pure comedy.

The Loud House's premise and characters are the show's hook, that is certain. HB has a more interesting world, a far more original and less cliched sensibility, more fleshed out characters, generally funnier (albeit less wacky) jokes and writing from an adult perspective, better animation and design (though TLH's is servicable for what it is), and it incorporates more drama and emotion. It's not always amazing, but it definitely has its moments, and it always gives me something I don't get from other cartoons in its atmosphere.
The Loud House is an extremely safe show - it's as bland and riskless as a TGIF sitcom from the late 80s. Perfectly watchable, sure. But I have a really hard time anyone could believe it's great unless waifubait is their primary indicator of quality.

Harvey Beaks have an crazy setting but not so much and a relatable characters but not so much it becomes good at many things but don't have a peak. HB is more original and artsy, that is for sure. But there is more on a cartoon than art or depth, TLH is not good because it have a deep lore, outstanding art (but the newspaper comic feel is pretty good) but it hits the spot in having the kids see themselves inside the show.
But I could be wrong, I haven't been in contact with my younger relatives recently to see their reaction to the show so this goes from the guessing of a grown up that should be doing something productive instead of posting in a Taiwanese website.

I want to like this show, but I just can't get myself too. There's just something so generic about it that I can't swallow it down. I'm sure if I saw this as a kid I would enjoy it though.
It's like, when you're a poor kid and your mom buys off-brand cereal. You get used to it and start to enjoy it, and even if you eventually start to get the name brand stuff, some of the off-brand still tastes good (if not better). But, you'll reach a certain point where if there's a new off-brand and you're already used to the name brand, you just can't eat it without it being a bit lacking and gross.
I'll admit that I initially started watching for the girls, but, this show is genuinely nice and does have some good jokes here and there.
I thought Sound of Silence, Space Invader, Changing the Baby, and some others had some really funny jokes in it.

The Loud House is a goofier, louder, more surface level sort of cartoon that has a premise with an appealing hook and has been advertised to hell and back, of course it's bringing in the kids. This is actually pretty odd. When the show first premiered everyone knew it wasnt particularly ambitious and generally straightforward and cliche, and the strength was in the characters rather than plots or jokes. It was good but not amazing or anything
