Echoing the Greek vases and art WAS brilliant. In particular, the way the buildings on Paradise Island was inventive and some of the unique touches (the ostriches for the fighting, the flying 'scooters' type vehicles) were very cool.
My problem with the art was that, for the people, some of the ink work felt really heavy and some of them did not look good, including some of the images of Diana, in particular Nubia in almost all instances, and Hippolyta often, especially the way they almost always are facing sideways. In Nubia's case, those sideways poses make her body look odd, at best/kindest. And the inking is really dark on those, which isn't flattered by the fact that the colorist went for such dark skin colors, considering the garb she wore.

Actually, Morrison and Didio (probably anyone else who did publicity for the issues as well) said that the six views of the various earths (as well as the two in the Guidebook, plus the ideas for the other earths in the guidebook) were all intended as jumping off points that any creators could use for on-going stories or new series.
