There has to be some way to turn this into you-know-what.jpg

What the hell did Buckley do to his art
>>83697968
As far as I can tell, he started making an effort.
>>83697995
>colors by fahriza kamaputra
>effort
More like he started outsourcing to third-world countries.
>>83697968
>Gee Erica Henderson, how can I get a gig at Marvel?
>>83698037
Improved linework is improved linework man, don't know what to tell ya. Still garbage, but it is my garbage and I've lived in it for years.
What in the fuck is the comic
>>83698287
you want the long version or the short version
>>83698287
Shitty video game-themed superhero origin story.
They were exposed to some experimental chemical when an arcade machine they were playing exploded. I shit you not.
>>83698381
Wait, how is this their origin story when Lucas was using his powers earlier to stop those purse-snatchers?
>>83698425
Flashbacks intercut with flashforwards
>>83698425
It's a flashback.
>>83698515
>>83698522
Wow, that was incredibly unclear to me.
>>83698565
Yeah it took me like a week to figure out. Flashbacks are hard to do if you're a fucking hack, I guess.
>>83698565
Yep. Really could have made that clearer but this man is still pretty bad at... everything
What was wrong with the 4 players, anyway? It was a mediocre video game jokes strip, but the art was better than this, it was funny enough, had a vaguely amusing gimmick in the respawn machine, and the premise nowhere near as cringy.
Fucking video game superheroes. Really, Buckley? Even from you, I'd expect better than this.
>>83698733
Eh, I wanna see where it goes. Nowhere good I'm sure, but there's something fun in watching a trainwreck.
>>83697936
What the fuck? I thought he killed off Ethan in that dumb time travel story.
>>83699694
He did. Alt universe.
>>83698733
It's still going on; it's just being interspersed with this and the space thing.
>>83699694
this is an alt-universe where instead of being a loser who plays video games, he's a superhero who plays video games.
>>83697936
You know what, this is actually pretty funny. It's supposed to be funny right? Or is it another iteration of "he made me watch while he KILLED HER?"
>>83698223
It's worse than it was a year ago.
>>83701402
By what metric?
>>83701341
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e60JlM6ZXHc
>>83701607
Every.
>>83701607
The cubic contrarian.
>>83701648
How specific.
>>83697936
Being honest, the reason why this feels so weird is because colors are actually decent - entire picture actually tries to keep a consistent color palette (blue/cyan, with brown as contrast) - it's okay, much better than CAD ever was, or than Buckley himself can do (insert link.jpg here) - but linework is extremely sloppy, even by his standards. His eyes look really bad.
Compare it to this - it's a random strip from 2015.
http://www.cad-comic.com/cad/20150128
These inks look halfway decent.
Well, we can't make it into a cad edit because we have no idea what is setup and what is punchline, if there is one. This is Cow Tools, CAD edition.
>>83701637
Still the best
I like the coloring, it's an improvement.
I laughed. Not bad.
>>83697936
>you-know-what.jpg
You lost me. What?
>>83698381
So this isn't an insider joke about arrows in some mech game? That's actually more retarded than I thought.
>>83702744
I don't know either. I'm at a loss.
I though this was referencing something but apparently it's not. I'm confused.
>>83702296
He didn't even color it himself.
>Colors by Fahriza Kamaputra
His anatomy is decent. At least, compared to his own work
Why does he keep starting projects up under the "cad" name using the same characters?
>>83703106
Probably because he still makes a living off of it. You can see him experimenting under the label, but the label is still what brings traffic
>>83703106
either (a), he thinks his audience is attached to the losers he invented, (b), he self-inserts as ethan and wants to keep his fantasy life going on, or (c), he's lazy and doesn't want to design more characters, develop a model to stick to, etc.
Or (d), he already knows he can draw a ton of comics with these characters without getting bored of them, so he's going with what he knows.
Probably a combination of all 4.
>>83697936
loss edit when
>>83701961
>Cow Tools, CAD edition
I'm surprised Buckley hasent done that
There was a coon tools
>>83703392
What is this sorcery I cannot save the image to post it here
>>83703240
I thought the robot was his self insert, but I stopped reading after he switched to player 1,2,3,4 as the main characters.
>>83703514
What site?
>>83703641
http://www.sandraandwoo.com/2009/01/08/0023-coon-tools/
Also I could have sworn this used to be black and white
My heart's not even in the coon meaning nigger joke I was going to make now
>>83697936
>effort
So does he need money now?
>>83703886
>>83704040
That's the one thanks anon
The fuck happened? I thought this goober finished the Ctrl+Alt+Del "story" a few years back?
>>83698037
Ok, everything is explained.
Still, this comic looks worlds better, even if it just those two fucks playing vidya until the decapitation.
>>83697936
whats the joke fuckley?
>>83697936
I don't get it.
>>83711469
>>83711921
>coming into a thread with no context
>don't get the joke
thanks for stating the obvious guys, real enlightening
>>83697936
so i only read the first issue when someone storytimed it years ago so refresh me: Lucas' powers is magic arrows and Ethan's powers is dying, right?
Nice try Buckley

Merge panels 2&3, get someone with too much time on their hand to edit panel 5 to include a headless body laying on the floor.
>>83701637
This was so fucking ridiculous.
>>83714011
>The first panel
HOLY SHIT
>>83714633
I know there's some sort of domino tile thing going on, but I don't know what game it's from. It looks like a digital clock with only some of it's number-lights on.
>>83697936
>>83714690
Yeah I'm at a loss.
>>83714690
>>83715148
Look at the position of the windows and then compare them to this
>>83715197
So it's a version of the "loss" 'strip, done in 2-bit graphics? Are you kidding me? (I know he's not kidding me, the world is too terrible a place for this sort of stupid to NOT be real) I've seen that all over but I've really just ignored it, thinking it was some alien writing or robot writing from some video game spread everywhere by it's fans. Like the "cake is a lie" gag. I think I've seen it on the pony and furry pages for crying out loud.
>>83697936
'colours by'
>all the work by
>>83714348
>>83714633

>>83715197
No way
No fucking way.
>>83714348
loss is also on the purple sign below
>>83704040
Isn't this a rip of that Cow Tools one?
>>83715763
And also the flyer underneath the sign.
>>83715760
It's clearly an edit, just look at the title. Has anything he's ever published implied that he has anywhere near this level of self-awareness?
>>83715780
Yes, except those are all real tools instead of unidentifiable objects.
>>83715655
It's a high penetration low impact meme with incredibly flexibility.
Pic related.
>>83716442
I don't remember the tools being odd just that it's unclear what the fuck the cow is going to do with them
>>83718328
Larson said that making one of the tools saw-like was a mistake since it fueled people trying to figure out how the cow would use the other things.
>>83717116
This one is particularly bad.
>>83701637>Paul who is a ghost is just standing there
I miss PFSC.
>>83697936
>puts more effort into making his comic look good, both by practicing and collaborating with others

Why does this faggot have blue hair now?
>>83721994
Butt fuckley has burned too many bridges to ever be liked here.
>for sale

>Nobody even remembers the original
That's how forgettable it was, even though it was a bunch of dildos wrapped up in a trenchcoat.
This is your legacy Buckley.
>>83723611
Dark blue makes a more visually striking alternative to black.
>>83715760
whats with all you fucking retards that everytime you see a Loss edit you think IS THIS REAL HOLY SHIT
>>83697936
I tried.
>>83703978
The part about this that offends me the most is that he's using a fucking Cintiq.
You can't create a meme on purpose, it's based on luck
>>83724927
NICE
Loss?
>>83718376
Interesting
>>83701637
Context? I haven't read CTRLTDEL in years (thankfully).
>>83717116
>>83719156
Someone made a better version that actually follows the rules of music notation.
http://vocaroo.com/i/s0DvK82j7x3q
>>83725031
There was a Cintiq commercial featuring the creator of Dilbert.
I love Dilbert but a bunch of copy pasted Wallys are not going to convince me to buy a $1000 piece of equipment.
>>83714011
Hold on, this is... funny?
>>83725031
He draws super good on it.
>>83731014
It's pretty self explanatory. One of Buckley's many failed attempts to garner depth with serious drama in his former gag-a-day strip about "us gamers."
>>83733387
Nope.
It's just "lol what if we applied gaming to real life" shit.
He respawned, big fucking deal.

Truely, I am at a loss.

No. It's possibly worse than Willis.
