Is she the most popular black hero?
>>83693029
Right this very moment? Black Panther is.
1. BP
2. Storm
3. John Stewart
4. Cage, barely
No one else really ranks.
>>83693062
I forgot about Static, he'd be above Cage.
>>83693062
You forgot one.
Will Smith is a superhero right?
>>83693086
You're right, I never consider Blade a hero in the traditional sense so I always forget him.
>>83693062
>>83693083
Wouldn't cyborg, war machine and falcon be above cage just from exposure
no
>>83693062
If you are talking comic shops and /co/, maybe.
For the world as a whole it's:
1. Falcon
2. Black Panther
3. Storm
4. War Machine
5. Blade
6. Nick Fury
7. Cartoon Cyborg
8. Jessica Jones' fuck buddy
9. That one Green Lantern that was black
>>83693118
Nah, millenial kids know Cyborg just from teen titans and even then he's no one's 'favorite character'.
If I ask my mom, who saw BvS, who Cyborg is I'm sure she's start to describe War Machine to me.
>>83693168
>9. That one Green Lantern that was black
Considering how many people knew who were and still are confused as fuck by Hal Jordan's presence in the GL movie, Stewart would appear to be decently popular perhaps moreso with the masses than Hal is.
>>83693228
You confuse "the masses" with casuals on /co/ I think.
>>83693228
Moreso with the "progressives" that have nothing better to do than shitpost all over social media, maybe.
>>83693286
Honestly, only comic and cartoon nerds give a single fuck who is Green Lantern.
The "progressives" pretending to care are just out to get that reliable rise out of you.
>>83693228
Green Lantern has always been a Z-list hero for normal people, and the JL cartoon has been audiences' only exposure to the character before the movie.
That doesn't make Jon Stewart any less obscure. Green Lantern was less popular than Apache Chief on the Superfriends.
People don't care about Green Lantern.
>>83693168
This list is terrible
>>83693436
Again, it's not a popularity list for people who hang out on this board.
>>83693168
Falcon barely does anything in movies. Black Panther in Civil War vastly exceeds Falcon in any of the 3 movies he's been in. Plus literally every single one of Falcon's comic/cartoon costumes has looked like ass.
>>83693485
Falcon has great comedic buddy moments with Cap (and later Bucky) in the movies.
Black Panther is "le earnest negro character"
Woll Smoth didn't become a huge star (at one point) for his "le earnest negro" roles.
I think Black Panther is pretty awesome too, but Falcon has made the bigger impression across two movies.
>>83693478
Man, why wasn't White Rabbit in that movie? Why did they never bring her back in general.
>>83693589
Sorry three movies, I forgot he's the guest-Avenger in Ant-Man.
>>83693589
You are like the only person that thinks this
>>83693589
literally nobody preferred falcon in Cap 3 to anyone
He was on nobody's radar
Popular notions on Cap 3:
>Why is this Avengers 2.5
>I want to impregnate Scarlet Witch
>Spider-Man stole the show even though he only had 20 minutes of screen time
>Black Panther is fucking dope
>Not muh Zemo
>Nice Zemo interpretation
>I want to impregnate sweater Vision
The rest of the conversation was about Tony, Bucky and Steve. You would find more people talking about Hawkeye than Falcon, and that's just because Hawkeye is shit. Falcon is just there. Crossbones was more memorable than he was
>>83693062
Misty Knight will probably be up there, once Luke Cage debuts.
>>83693062
Isn't John Stewart a white jew?
>>83693764
No.he's clearly a black South African.
>>83693764
No, that's Jon Stewart.
It's a Superman Red/Superman Blue situation.
>>83693724
I'm thinking Deadshot will join the list of "terrible and unmemorable characters" WIll Smith has been playing lately.
>>83693850
He will be known because he's being played by will smith
