It's pretty good but like all Morrison stories, it falls apart near the half point.

No, lots of people like it but the art's all over the place and the omnibus itself is unwieldy as hell. Far too much comics in one book. Lot of people hate the penultimate arc because of NOT MUH MAGNETO, I thought the last few issues were a bit superfluous when all they really add up to is Morrison shipping Cyclops and Emma Frost. You like Morrison you'll like New X-Men, but Doom Patrol and X-Statix are easier to read (not gravestone size) and feature better artwork over sheer volume.
