Co, I need your help, a friend of mine just showed me this image, he says its from a cartoon but thats beside the point. The thing is he says he saw this dumb smile before, and after looking at it it does look familiar, is just that we cant remember where we saw it before.
I know it sounds stupid but any smiles in cartoons that look similar to this?

It's the reddit face
>>
>>83669259

Dragon Ball

I'm surprised at the Dragon Ball comments. Before seeing those I just would've said it was a standard exaggerated "happy" expression a lot of cartoons use.

Who's the QT though?

Looks like it'd be a french cartoon.
>>
>>83672301
You'd be right. She's a mermaid called Marina from a French toon called Zig and Sharko. Look it up on Youtube, tons of shit of it on what I assume is the official channel for the show.
>>
>>83672301
The girl is a mermaid called Marina, its from a cartoon called zig & sharko, I dunno if its french

It's probably A Kind of Magic. It's from the animation studio and they used similar facial expressions on Marina from Zig and Sharko where your image if from.

Well, i found a new cartoon

Definitely a Toriyama smile. The SU comparisons are valid too via Ian J, who loves Dragonball.
>>
>>83669259
It does look familiar to me too, I think it might be Dragon Ball but I'm not convinced. Definitely not any of the other suggestions though.

It was pretty common in old manga I miss those goofy faces.
>>
>>83672575
It's french which in turn takes some inspiration from anime, so like mentioned before it's a kind of stylized anime hybrid.

Older manga and anime drew more heavily on classic western animation.

That generation anime faces were not from western cartoons. At least not any cartoon I remember.
