Anyone else find it rather strange that there is a whole dimension/world within the DC universe that only a lesser known Flash Rogue has access to? Why isn't this ever mentioned anywhere else in the universe, or is it? For instance, has anyone like Lex Luthor ever done anything with the Mirror World? Such a strange concept, and a strange character, it's fascinating.

The closest was Justice Lord copy made by Brainthor. Flash got very little love in the show to the point where he was practically nonexistent in the first season of JLU. He had great moments and they eventually gave him some amazing episodes but he was just the comedy relief side character for most of the time.
Yeah no one really brings up Mirror World as a universal fact. Might be cool to get a cosmic GL/Flash team-up story about someone like Kanjar Ro or Mongul gaining access to Mirror Master's tech.

Well, Cyclops has eyes that are portals to a punch dimension.
I believe the way Magik and Nightcrawler are able to teleport are via their link to the dimensions their teleportations connected to. So, like, they jump from our dimension into that dimension and that dimension directs them to the destination.

I recently bought the Animal Man where Buddy fights Mirror Master. He has a lot of good bits in that series. He's almost like the the guy who has The Hand stand in Jojo. Super OP power, only uses it for petty crime.

There was a small story called Salvation Run, where all the supervillains are sent to some super hostile planet.
And in that story The Rogues are there like a month before all the other villains would show up, surviving like the badasses they are.

Morrison does bring up the mirror world in a roundabout way in his run on Batman and (I think) Final Crisis. Basically there are monsters that drive men already slightly unhinged to insanity lurking in the mirror world.
