Let's be honest.

You're not worried about the Vision at all.

These are the Avengers outside of their own book. When have they ever won outside of their own book?

And they don't even win all that often in their own stories either. The bad guys kind of just slink away.

He'll be fine.

His family though?

Well...

Not only that, but look at their parallels, who they're standing in front of.
Mickey was the earlier creation, but while he's more recognizable a figure, he's also kind of a generic hero devoid of character flaws. Donald, who came later, is capable of a much greater emotional range and is the more "human" character as a result.

All Vision has to do is ask the Avengers a question:

>The series as a whole?
His best work so far imo.

>How about Grayson? Did he at least outline the ending for that? What did you think of it?
I enjoyed his Grayson and I stopped reading with his last issue. With King and Seeley gone I just couldn't be bothered to continue. And the incoming writers I thought did poorly in B&R Eternal. I found them to be poor scripters.

Viv is proclaimed to die in one of the early issues. I don't think any of them, except Vision survive, honestly.
>>
>>83599317
You know, it's funny. The Avengers are acting on this based on a prophecy from a Pre-cog. Tony is leading the charge. Meanwhile, in Civil War II, Tony is going to start a war with the Inhumans because they did the same thing.
>>
>>83608648
As long as all the Avengers die too I can dig it. I want Vision to drown the Marvel Universe in Avengers blood.

Victor Mancha is not suppsoed to have a robotic body. Hid body was constructed to make a transition from robotic to fully organic and unidstinguishable from a regular human being. He's got muscles and bones and blood in his arm, not that cyber crap. Author should have checked Runaways.
>>
>>83609181
He got a bunch of cyber crap put in during Avengers AI.
>>
>>83609181
>nanobot enhanced organs and blood
He's a synthezoid like the Vision, which doesn't mean he lacks any additional enhancements as well his manufactured organs. Not going to read another BKV comic to check, though.
>>
>>83609181

he's actually got all that cyber crap, but that was meant to be phased out. Maybe it began to get phased out but once he broke ultron programing, he kept more of them
>>
Could this be the evergreen run that Marvel needs?

Little stuff like this is hauntingly beautiful. He's never going to be a real man.

Should be, but it isn't selling. I did my part and preordered the trade.

It won't be.

I agree and actually don't like Sandman or Gaiman that much

whew this book yo.

i hate that it's so good cause i love viz/wanda. but it's so fucking good
>>
>>83609607
More on the lines of Hickman's Ultimates, minus the ending (unless King fucks up the ending, which I hope he doesn't), or Azzarello's WW. It's a very good take on a character, that will stand outside continuity for the most part, but be an enjoyable read everytime you go back to it. I wouldn't call it ground breaking.

That's a tall order, but I could honestly see this run being revered 20 years from now.

No hyperbole though: this is one of the best books on the market right now. It's leaps and bounds above anything else at the Big Two.

But Wanda has no interest in that kind of boring domestic life, and the brain patterns are from around the time when she was exploring chaos magik and with Simon.

Vision's family exists entirely for his benefit; it's an exercise in narcissism that would make even Tony Stark blush.

Worse than pre-cog, based on a perverse, twisted Cthonic mystic ritual which most of the Avengers would regard as creepy and from a shady and dangerous as fuck source.

Carnage is incidentally currently doing exactly the same stuff kind of amoral stuff as Agatha in his book.

Viv did "die" earlier, though, so maybe it was that that was foreshadowed.
>>
>>83608648
I can see Vin escaping and remaining in limbo until someone wants an Ultron-related villain.
>>
>>83610308
King himself has said Agatha is at a disadvantage against Vision.

> Vision is an Avenger.
> Vision is "logical".
> Vision is a physical being.
> Has alot of allies and friends in the Avengers; far more than Wanda.

> Agatha is a ghost.
> Agatha's methods are undeniably amoral; what she did to her cat was alot creepier and crueler than anything Vision has done.
> She used just about the least trustworthy source in the entire universe for her pre-cog.
> Wanda is not an Avenger.
> Wanda's only allies and friends are Steve and Stephen.
> Wanda has the huge stigma of M-Day and mental illness hanging over her.

Bendis has fucked King hard.
The problem with Civil War 2 is it makes Tony's reaction to this look utterly stupid; > Tony don't trust Ulysses because Rhodey.
> Tony does trust the pussy-eating ghost witch who got her pre-cog via evil magic.

Er...um...yeah.

Company wars do not belong in this thread.
>>
>>83618170
This seems to have happened before Civil War, perhaps this is the reason Tony is so against pre-cogs in the future?

I mean think about it, what Tony is doing in this comic is literally the EXACT same thing Tony says they shouldn't do in the Civil War comic. Replace Hulk's name with Vision and it is almost exactly the example he used against it.

What if Tony ends up killing Vision's family and realizes at the end what they just did. They find Viv with a picture of that boy and the broken recording playing on a loop next to a make-up kit she had just purchased to try to look more human, they find Vin's hidden stash of Shakespeare and even a costume he was making to play in his school's Othello, and they find the damn dog dead after trying to drag Vin's body from the burning wreckage of their house. And Tony feels a huge surge of "I actually fucked up big this time" and realizes how wrong they were... Then last panel has him getting a call from Medusa warning him of an imminent threat to the world from 'celestial warmachines'.

We're all dead.

Interesting idea, but that would imply Bendis knows what he's doing in Civil War 2.
He doesn't.
He's drunk.
>>
>>83619656
Never doubt the hypercrisis, anon. It can create connections even despite people like Bendis getting in the way.
>>
>>83619510
I wonder if Agatha is going to be the villain in this story. She gon dun fucked up yet again.

Alot of comic readers have long viewed her as being shadey as fuck.
>>
>>83619850
The sad thing is that Bendis is going to get all the praise for writing a cohesive and logical event while Ewing (god bless him) and others do all the work to make sense of things.

Ewing's ability to make sense of Bendis' trainwreck will never cease to amaze me. One of greatest strengths as a writer is to use shitty forced events in a way that progresses the story he's telling and make it feel organic
>>
>>83618170
Agatha's a lesbian? I literally only know her from this book and the current Scarlet Witch book so bare with me on my newness.
>>
>>83598812
>How did you guys like the ending of Tom King's Omega Men?

Whenever someone starts bitching about wanting to see social justicie in comic books, I want to slap them in the face with the trade I'm going to get of that. Preferably hardcover.

I think the best part is that EVERY single atrocity in the book is based on something that's happened in the world in the past 50 years.

>>
>>83599299
Okay, so does anyone else think the narrator changed between v1 and 2?
While issue 1-6 was told by Agatha to the Avengers, this and the previous issue had different narration boxes.

I think it's Wanda, but then who is she relaying the story to, and why? It's like she's begging for the participants in the story to not continue.
>>
>>83599447
I find it weird that King's praising Bendis when he's a million times the better writer

>>83599263
I like the other interpretations of this scene as well, but personally I saw it as the reader being Mickey Mouse, laughing at what Donald Duck (Vision) did to himself
>>
>>83599317
Man Victor. Why become some Avengers lackey?
This is all Marvel's fault for not writing proper Runaways comics anymore.
>>
>>83627695
well the framing device is the court hearing, right?
>>
You know, it's gonna suck when this book ends and all of this is handwaved in ANAD Avengers with "LOL, Vision, you so cray cray!"
>>
>>83627916
King is really generous with his praise to other writers. Every time he talks about Batman he talks about how good Snyder's run is and there's no way he doesn't know how much better he is than Snyder
>>
>>83627695
It doesn't sound like Agatha. "Follow the bouncing ball!" and the emphasis on relationships such as "That's the fun of it!" are more Wanda's kind of tone.
>>
>>83599350

>>83600212
Man you've got to give people a break. Superheroes can't bilocate and aren't omniscient; the Pride existed because it managed to keep heroes out of LA and otherwise unaware of its existence. Its established that if, say, Cloak and Dagger DID get the word out shit would be OVER.

And from a narrative perspective how lame is a book where the guys you're reading about don't get to confront their antagonist because some dude from another book butts in?

Runaways did have Cap coming off a little cold for a dude who'd probably sympathize the hell out of what happened to those kids, but BKV was set on having the Runaways not trust any marvel adult I guess.

Paul Bettany loves this book, so I hope he emulates this version of Vision even more in the future movies. He's already on his way there it seems.
>>
>>83632061
Let's be real, no one was going to use these characters - at least not in a meaningful and worthwhile way - anyway. It's comics, they'd have been killed off or retconned at some point, may as well do it yourself.
