I asked /co/ to offer their opinions about this show a few weeks back in order to decide if I should watch it or not. After getting several recommendations on your part, I went ahead and started up the pilot.
Thank you guys for recommending such a fun show. I was pleasantly surprised by how entertaining these characters and their adventures were, all the way up through the most recent season. While I can't say I'm a huge fan of the end of season 6, this show was more often than not a great ride. Stupid consistent, too.

That's because it was never an ending, they ran out of episodes because of a mix-up involving the Gargantua 2-parter counting as season 6 instead of season 5, and were just cut off.

I actually know about that, and knew about it going in. It still doesn't make me feel much better about the last episode. The one right before it was far more climactic, though it didn't exactly tie everything up cleanly. It is to my understanding that the creators even toyed with the idea of shifting the two episodes around to make the season feel more "finished," but couldn't figure out a way to do it that made sense.
