I don't like every one of those comics, but it's definitely a savvy move to package them to a single class of consumer.
Good for Marvel. They don't always make the kinds of comics that I enjoy reading, but they seem to have good market awareness.

Yeah I've seen Volume 1 around Barnes and Noble. It just seems dumb to put out a trade that only has the first issue for a bunch of series. Especially with the slow turn around for new ones coming out.
