I always hated it even as a kid.
Ugly world, ugly character designs, drab colors, spot-on voices which doesn't help in this case, and it just wasn't very entertaining... like, it was about as average and boring as you could get for a cartoon about a cat attached to a dog.
Like, did we really need another plot about brothers choosing to stick with one another over some other interest? Or yet another joke or 10 about stereotypical cats and dog personalities clashing? That shit was just dead in the water for me.
