Swift was their hunter/tracker, faster than anyone else on the team except for Apollo and maybe the Engineer. If they had to track down something outside of a city, she was the only competent person on the team to do it

Apollo is semi astute, but unless he's carrying the Midnighter around he can only follow obvious trails, and even if he is he's moving way slower.
