All style, no substance, the characters are lifeless cardboard props meant to serve as a (literal) vehicle through the pretty landscapes. I got more invested in the few characters we saw at the beginning before the timeskip than any of the characters we have now. The concepts, worldbuilding, and scenery are phenomenal though. They just never fucking do anything with any of it.

Kinda this. The characters do very little for me, but the world itself is very interesting and I hope to see more of it.
My favorite thing about the comic has to be the way that the characters are all drawn in one art style, and the landscapes and monsters in a totally different one. Really adds to the feeling that the monsters are a terrible aspect of nature that everyone just has to live with now.

Yeah the author seems much more interested in showing off the world then in building the characters at this point in the comic. I was rather miffed that it looked like she was going somewhere with conflict/drama between scout and pyro but has dropped it for more scenery porn.

Great art, great setting, absolutely spectacular work ethic, kinda dull story. Hopefully she gets picked up by a publisher, because she is putting out enough quality to be paid well.

The comic is GORGEOUS, but the pacing, omg, the pacing is somewhat slower then a glacier's advance.
I find this often happens with Euro comics, though. They sure don't feel any sense of urgency in their storytelling.
