Yes, but you could always tell where his brow was. With the dark circles, the wrinkles and his exaggerated features, you could always tell where they would have been and exactly how he felt. The show told you exactly the same thing had they been there. Leto looks like he won't be able to pull off the same expressiveness, but he probably won't need to, more likely only needed to pull off maniacal loudness and shrill laughter.
