I'm pretty sure they hired models that looked as close to Jessica Walter, Aisha Tyler, and Cyril as possible because they look pretty much identical to their characters and I think if they based the characters off of their looks they would have to give them a cut of every single thing the character was in (merch and shit) whereas models you wouldn't have to with certain contracts.
