This one kind of flew under the radar. Haven't seen threads for it.

Maybe that's because it isn't coming out for another month.
It's an adadption of a novel into a movie, so there's your answer
>The Big Fucking Giant

I hope it's good. I really enjoyed the book and the last animated film as a kid.
I was watching the trailer and I'm sure I recognised parts from the animated film shot-for-shot. Either I'm misremembering or they borrowed storyboards.

It's a live-action movie based on a book. I fail to see how this is relevant for a board dedicated to comics and cartoons.

Do kids get eaten and we see army vs giants?
Wasn't there already a BFG movie?

After the cat in the hat, I've lost faith in children's books adaptations.

How's that /co/ related?

I've been really tempted to start up a Cosgrove Hall thread sometime - but don't know whether it would worth it or not.
Those guys defined my childhood.
I remember going to their studio-museum-tour thing. There was a giant foot from the BFG and a massive robotic Nanny that burst through the wall and scared the shit out of me.
Cosgrove Hall thread?

that's because the new Doom by shitesda is pure garbage, as expected from that turd factory.

Yes, but it was made in 1989
It was pretty cool though. I loved the book as a kid, might go see this
