True, unlike Flash Quicksilver is supposed to have lesser invulnerability to just tank the effects of superspeed, and he showed some of this in the movie. When the rifle shot hit him he was speeding towards it, adding his speed to it's own in the collision, so it pierced his arm, but even then he just seemed annoyed rather than hurt.
