They may have been trying for a >>83506800 but the dragon can fly and breathe fire and the sky bison can fly and is the size of 3 Nagas. They had to have a Momo in that fire ferret Pabu, otherwise Naga could have been the "cute" animal mascot.
Also I don't think they thought through the life of the whole animal guide thing. Badger moles, sky bison and dragons seem like they could live as long or longer than humans. The combination of a bear and dog doesn't give it a long life so an Avatar can't really designate one as an animal guide.
