So "Return to the Isle of Lost" came out recently.
How do we feel about disney's descendants now? is it actually good? or is it still just a poor man's imitation of Ever After High?

It's basically Disney realizing the insane amount of sheckels they've lost not exploiting the "high school" theme before Monster High or Ever After High. They're just trying to get on a running bus.
Dove Cameron is top-tier qt and the first movie was entertaining enough for me to be excited about the sequel, but all the other media for it doesn't really interest me.

Hell no. How would some novel change our opinions about how horrible the movie was? Why would we even want to read the novel?
