Trolls's always been one of the more comedy Lanfeust spinoffs. They tried to be somewhat serious for the first story arc, and I guess they thought it didn't work out because the rest of the series is basically Astérix but bloodier. Which kinda makes sense considering the trolls are basically Warcraft orcs with the characterization of the Gauls.
