Cap and Nanor WWII team up flashbacks when?
So how long before they try and rush out a Namor movie to beat DC to the punch.
............Who the fuck cares about Namor????
>>83432876
Me. Fuck off
>>83432845
They'll push back the Captain Marvel movie for it
I cannot fucking wait for Namor in all his asshole glory to show up in the MCU.
I want him to try and invade the surface world in his FIRST APPEARANCE. Like, Tony is chilling in his fucking Malibu mansion, and all of a sudden sub-tanks appear off the California coast because IMPERIUS REX, FUCKERS.
WELP
>>83432902
I mean its fine if you do, I just never hear a damn thing about him nor ever hear about a Namor following
>>83432996
'Tis but a scratch.
>>83432996
Pretty sure solicits already said he's alive again
>>Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada
Who has nothing to do with Marvel Studios. Why trust him?
>>83432876
literally nobody but marveldrones get all worked up because he's the only thing they have comparable to Aquaman
>>83432662
Neat
>>83433055
Do you really think somebody would do that just go to the press and tell lies
>dissing Namor
Let's just move to the biggest thread
And for fuck's sake, check the catalog next time...

>beat DC to the punch
They don't need to "beat" DC in first place. BVS was the better they could offer and it did average, any DC comic movie now is gonna flop and you know it
Hickman practically ruined Namor, even if it was totally in character. Oh sure, he saved trillions, but he's the bad guy because he made the impossible choice.
And of course, now he has to job to Mary Sue Black Panther, the most boring hero who ever bored.
>>83441012
honestly i hope DC/Marvel movie competition goes on strong, as shitty as BvS was it forced marvel to change it's formula and make Civil War.
>couldn't get Dr. Doom
faggots
>>83438384
lmao what kill urself
How to pronounce Namor:
>Nay-mor
KANGZ
>>83432845
Honestly, they've beaten DC to the punch SO badly by this point that it'd be poetic if they just up and let them release their one definitive Marvel ripoff get his movie out first.
>>83432876
As a character. he's alright.
Really I'm in it for the DEEPEST LORE (literally).
>>83442374
I read this yesterday. I had no idea. This changes everything.I'm still gonna pronounce it "Nuh-mor" because it's obviously cooler

Who cared about Iron Man?
Namor has always been a big player. He was one of Timely's first heroes. He started the Marvel Universe with his crossover with the original torch. Throughout the silver age he was a tweener that teamed up with good guys and bad guys.
I can't wait to see how they resurrect him in the comics.
Also, this means Namora and that means Agents of Atlas. And maybe she can finally reunite with Namorita. That's been a plot point longggg in the resolution.
>>83433037
That's because he was big back in the Silver Age where he was a big player and in the late Bronze age when John Byrne wrote him.
You don't know about him because you're more a modern marvel guy.
The potential is there for him to be a big player again. Look what they did with Iron Man.
>>83432996
Because people never come back to life in comic books.
>>83441593
Hickman basically made him the sacrificial lamb for the Avengers. It wouldn't be so bad if other Avengers besides himself got to be punished for their shit.
>>83442241
All we need is Fantastic Four and we got the Marvel Universe minus the X-men who should have always been their own separate universe.
>>83442857
The victory lap will be a Squadron Supreme movie based on the Gruenwald book that does the themes of BvS better than BvS.
>>83432876
Your mom does
>>83445194
>implying Franklin Richards would be shitposting on /co/
>>83432876
fucking air-breather...

>>83432876
No one, but wen the first IM movie came out nobody gave a damn about Tony stark and now every kid around the world wants to be him.
and now under the mouse´s wing Namor can be even bigger than literally who?
>>83446794
Iron Man at least was a character you didn't have an easy analog for on the DC side (Batman maybe? but he doesn't normally go flying around in a powered suit). As much of a joke as Aquaman is to casuals, more people know about him than the Sub-Mariner, even if the latter actually came first.
You can probably thank the Superfriends and Justice League for that; I mean, how many times has Namor appeared in cartoons?
>>83447144
Fuck you the Fantastic 4 cartoon was great
>>83447144
Many times, I think.
The 70s Spiderman cartoon, basically every Fantastic Four cartoon, most Avengers cartoons...
>>83445357
>>83432662
Yay! Another villain for Marvel to kill off in one movie!
They don't say anything about distribution rights. Universal still has first dibs on distributing Hulk and Namor solo films.
Fox probably still has first dibs on distribution of a solo Daredevil film. They or Highlight Communications probably also have first dibs on distributing an only Fantastic Four or only X-Men film if they let the rights lapse.
See this thread:

>>83432876
This doesn't matter to Marvel. They'd probably actually prefer now to make movies about characters that aren't that popular like the movies they've made so far. Using these characters at least many people don't tend to get too upset about them changing the characters (like with X-Men) because many people don't actually care much about them and they can save the movies about popular characters for people to look forward to for later.
>>83448402
It'll be interesting to see if people care about changes Marvel makes to an already popular character with Spider-Man in the new movie. It doesn't seem like many people cared about changes to previous characters because not many people cared about those characters before the movies were made.
