Was this the absolute worst Iron Man suit?
Maybe but the concept for it wasn't. I still think the Heroes Reborn armor was the worst, mostly thanks to Lifeld.

there's something cool about aspects of that, but.. no. why would there be a bunch of ribbed metal wires? would they flex?
my taste in iron man suits is pretty clear: if it moves it needs a proper joint, not just 'it flexes magically because 3d chainmail mesh held in place with an EM field'
the ultimate suit is fucking great. unlike everything else "ultimate"

The Iron Man 2020 suit is pretty hilarious. It's just the old goofy metal muscles suit but eeeeeevil and looks royally silly.
