Just what is her vest? I mean what is it's real life prototype? What is it intended to be? It doesnt look like a tactical vest and I'd assume bulletproof one would be too heavy and unnecessary for an officer on a street-patroling duty. Stab vest? Some kind of parkour apparel protecting from scratches and blunt hits while navigating some obstructed environment?
It's made from real gorilla chest
>>83410107
It's a tactical vest.
Yes it doesn't have pockets.
It's just meant to be a visual symbol for "Here is a police officer".
>>83410107

>>83410107

>>83410172
We also have at least 15 shitpost threads. Go complain about those, nigger.
According to the book I got it's designed to keep her comfortable in all of Zootopia's environments, and the vest portion is to help protect most of her vitals. And it goes without saying that there's a bit of Hollywood licencing going on.
All the other cops are large animals, I figured it was meant to protect her a little if any animal fought back. She was told she was dead when the rhino punched her in training. So stuff like that.
>>83410107
A shitty vest that does not protect her stomach. She will die painfully from a gutshot
>>83410750
>>83410879
Which do you think is more likely to protect her, anon:
A hard shell of bulletproof Kevlar across her abdomen, or the insurmountable temptation to lay down your arms and give the bunny a belly rub?
Kevlar, probably.
It's essentially useless thanks to it only taking up half of center mass, unless the suit has it's own Kevlar layer, which would mean it's dupplementary protection.
I think the idea is that the animals she'd be going up against won't be able to use guns that would break Kevlar.
>>83410750
Its neoprene, so more like a rubber suit. She must smell rank after a hot day
>>83411236
>I think the idea is that the animals she'd be going up against won't be able to use guns that would break Kevlar.
Basically. Anything she is suppose to deal with at her body size would not be able to bypass the vest. Any creatures too powerful for her to deal with, would just crush her like a grape.
>>83410120
Underrated
>>83410107
It's heavy neoprene, and it hides her constantly erect, protruding nipples.
I think it's just the uniform.
Any bullet proofing on Judy is pretty pointless because the force of impact would most likely kill her anyway.
>>83411479

It's her uniform. Police wear a uniform because they WANT to be recognised in public.
>>83410107
It's a Stab Vest without all the shit attached to it. Like how the cops in Britain wear, since the general public isn't allowed to have anything more dangerous than a plastic butter knife in public.
Kevlar, probably.
It's essentially useless thanks to it only taking up half of center mass, unless the suit has it's own Kevlar layer, which would mean it's supplementary protection.
I think the idea is that the animals she'd be going up against won't be able to use guns that would break Kevlar.
>>83412036
I'd pay to see an Edd, Ed and eddy like show featuring young Nick, fennek and flash
Flash is always riding some kind of bike or device speeding around
Its a meter maid vest to protect her from paper cuts
I want to get into that vest
>>83412630
>I think the idea is that the animals she'd be going up against won't be able to use guns that would break Kevlar.
Maybe the gun marketplace never took off because it would have to cater to a gajillion different sizes, not to mention that only part of the animals would be able to operate one. So it's all about protecting yourself from claws and teeth.

>>83420971
At their wedding duh
>>83421281
Inevitably I'd wager. 4K Blu-Ray is the next hip thing, and with UHD TV's growing in numbers, it's only a matter of time. Doubly true for visually amazing movies like Zootopia.
>>83421281
I wish they'd do a 4K, but then they probably don't have the time or computing power to do that
>>83421369
They got the movie done in a year after settling with the final concept, don't underestimate their tech and abilities.
>>83421405
I thought that they had to massively upgrade their render farm even with the movie rendering at the 'low' resolution we have it at now? 4k would surely be a bit of a stretch
>>83421369
It's a movie that got screened in large screen theaters. The master print was certainly not rendered at a measly 1080p resolution. Especially not when 4K has been available for consumers for a while now.
>>83418205

It's hard to narrow it down, since there seems to be differing sets of standards for different cinema venues and formats. But even as far back as 7-8 years ago, the least you could expect of a regular film produced for theaters would be 2K. Nowadays, full-feature films are usually shot in 4K or 8K, more likely the latter. Regular film like 70 mm isn't used as often, but even that comes to about 6K when digitized.
No idea what Disney used for Zootopia's master copy, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was 8K.

Average london police officers would wear things like that every day, and they have quite a bit of mobility.
Video related, Police in london using their mobility.

Average American police officers would go with lighter category 2 or 3 kevlar under their clothes instead for day to day use and only add obvious armor on top when it's party time.
>>83411697
I haven't seen the movie, but none of the other officers are dressed like her, right?
Here's two more ways to read it. One, is that her shit fits so badly because she's so tiny, that she has to wear her kevlar vest on the outside.
Two, she's so tiny that she has to go full riot control mode with kneepads, and obvious armor on day to day patrols.

Look at it from /tg/'s POV:
Judy has insanely high DEX, being quick like a bunny, but few HP, being small like a bunny. High-DEX/Low-HP characters always wear as light an armor as possible, because even a partially landing blow will do enough damage to kill/disable. It makes no sense to weigh yourself down with heavy armor and make yourself a target unless you have the HP to soak up what inevitably gets through said heavy armor.
What Judy has isn't designed to stop bullets or even knives/claws/teeth, but things like shrapnel. It's basically the heaviest armor she can wear without compromising her true defense, her mobility.

>go into the movie expecting to find the rabbit sexy or something

>Sahara square got me thinking, more specifically, of how much sand it has, I wonder if humanity has ever done anything of that magnitude just to have a nice place to live. The biggest comparable thing I can think of is that palm tree island in Dubai.
How about the entire Las Vegas? It basically had to import everything it needed to survive.

May I ask what pencils you use? Just curious and looking for tips to improve.
>>83434095
Close, but some changes...
Nick = Phil
Gideon = Stu
Clawhauser = Alan (because, as you said, fat)
Finnick = Mike Tyson
Mr Otterton = Doug, i.e. the one who goes missing and causes all the chaos to unfold
Weaselton = Mr. Chow
Bogo = Rob Riggle's Police Officer character

>any /k/omando can tell me that you can sew your kneepads on to your pants?
I don't understand your question. This exists, but isn't normal police gear.

>>83434424
Yeah they've taken it to a new level of extreme. As in the video call to Mom from the deleted scene... there's detail WITHIN the details. It's crazy... and I love it!

Your art is the shit but it's hard to found the older ones

.... I literally have been using this exact setup for all my drawings...
1 worn out #2 pencil from high school 5 years ago
1 pink eraser, also from high school
1 buck knife for sharpening pencil

I will make a deviant art or something... maybe tomorrow... I'll just have my user name as 'TheMechanicGuy'
I'll put everything there to archive for those who were not around when I first showed up...
I tend not to like my older drawings now... ive been looking back at them, feeling embarrassed about some that I did, now that I do better.... :/
>>83434817
