Hellcat's regular art is pretty cute despite the sameface, but Leth's writing is just so bad. She's pretty much a fanfic tier writer who only got lucky thanks to having a lot of connections in high places. It's no surprise Hellcat's numbers are tanking like crazy despite Marvel's best attempts to pimp it out when it first released. If the trades don't sell similar numbers to Squirrel Girl, it will likely be canned by issue 12.

I hadn't played it in years and it was around Christmas and she was the only person I hadn't gotten a Christmas present for (because I was trying to distance myself from her as much as possible). I had already given my amp to my dad and my pedal to my best friend. And she really wanted my guitar, so I said fuck it. I used some light mental gymnastics to tell myself I could use it as leverage if she ever tries to get back into my life or something.
I regret getting that guitar, but I regret giving it to her even more.
