More of a summary:There is an Inhuman that can see the future. Meets with the Avengers etc., gets told by Carol to contact the Ultimates if anything goes wrong. The Inhuman has a vision, the Ultimates go to attack Thanos (the FCBD issue). Tony is upset that Carol got Rhodey killed for "no good reason". She-Hulk is in critical care and they don't know how to treat her, and are awaiting the gamma specialist Dr. Banner. She-Hulk's dying words are to Carol about being strong or some nonsense. The machine that goes ping stops going ping and flatlines, with Carol getting increasingly more distressed. The last page is this, with it having flatlined for a too-long period.

If it was a real "Cap goes evil!" book, it'd get the same promotion Superior Spider-Man/Iron Man did. Goddammit, /co/, quit missing the point so badly. He WAS redeemed. He actually did it. I hated most of the run, but he was being a hero. Not a particularly nice one, but a hero. And yeah, he had an occasional "octavius" moment, like threatening to build robot duplicates and whatnot, but he was doing it.
The point wasn't that he couldn't be redeemed. The point was that even with the all of the power, all of the memories, all of the emotional baggage and trauma, when push came to shove he couldn't bear the weight. That being a hero isn't about the powers, and it isn't some trauma or dead parents or any of that, it's pic related.
Octavius couldn't do it. But when push came to shove, he still made a hero's decision.
