Not really, because 2 minutes isn't at all sufficient to judge a show's quality.
Pilots and earlier episodes have a way of differing from the later episodes in a series.

To be fair I gleaned a lot more than Han I probably wanted to shit posting there. I am not impressed but enjoy giving the fans a terrible name. Pretty much do that for all shows right now, haven't actually watched a cartoon in ages.

That's a decent enough rule, I still reckon you can't judge a show's quality based off thatunless it's complete and utter shite, but it's enough to know whether it's for you or not.
If I've heard good things I might stick with it a bit longer, Wakfu didn't really hook me until 11 or 12 episodes, but once it did I thought it was great. Prior to that I was considering dropping it.

Sounds reasonable. Maybe it could be worth checking a little of other seasons too as sometimes a show can have a weak start but improve over time or start good and go to shit latter.
I can understand op's feelings, but after Gravity Falls it was very refreshing.
