While Valsalia isn't the best storyteller or artist, OOP is a decent enough comic with nice worldbuilding and it doesn't get too wrapped up in sexual shit or whatever.

Gratuitousness is inherently distracting, whether it's sex or violence. It doesn't matter how well written a series is, if there's a scene that makes you think "this was put in to attract the horny teenager audience" it's going to make enjoying the good parts harder.
If you can find a way to work in fanservice in a way that makes sense and doesn't stand out, more power to you. But when you interrupt plot for a beach episode or have a female character frequently lose clothing for no reason, it makes it feel like the rest of your stuff can't stand on its own.
