Hey, new logo.
>>83254414
There's been so many good storytimes popping up lately. Anons like you are what keep me coming back to this board. I'm still a few threads behind, but thanks again for posting
>>83254622
Hey, that's cool, thanks man
>>83254686
Kapilalist Kourier were great, I wish they had gotten better propagated through the DC Universe.
Like, a random issue of Nightwing were he ends up working with one of them after they deliver a package to Bludhaven or something.
Just in the background, existing, even if they weren't prominent supporting cast members.
They probably got phased out as the Cold War stopped being relevant I guess.
>>83254782
Why do I have a feeling this is disgustingly accurate to new TV hires?
>>83255099
>Frite Nite with GAZONGA
Wonder how she got THAT name.
>>83256158
Oh Wally.
>>83256778
>>83256806
Wally's dad: worse than most of his villains.
>>83256158
Fantastic cover.
>>83256970
It's amazing he lived in Nebraska of all places with the level of conman he is.
>>83257024
>1500 shares in Justice League Island
Y'know, I'm pretty sure Max woulda gotten in on that kind of action.
>>83257348
I dunno, there are people like that everywhere.
>>83257223
>>83257194
Wait, is this one of those Chi guys from when Wally went to Hong Kong?
>>83257523
Yep.
>>83257441
It's more that smalltown Nebraska is going to hard limit the number of marks you can exploit before getting caught.
Must be why he was always on the road.
>that chest hair
>>83257702
Ok, so killing your sister is too fucked up for Wally's dad. I'm not sure if that's character development or more proof that we should ignore millennium.
>>83257724
Oooh. New Who's Who entries.
Those in the digital version too? Or dropped like letters and ads?
>>83257883
Por que no los dos?
>>83257783
I hate to be critical, OP, but looks like you're running the Annual out of place.
>>83257916
They included them.
>>83257883
There's a level of handwaving available with Millenium where you can just run with "it was Manhunter Brainwashing!"
>>83257973
Yeah, I'm just following what wiki says, I don't get paid enough to care.
>>83257935
Jesus, Tina, wwhat happened to you faaaaace?
>>83257973
But you're right though, I don't want to half-ass this so I'll give the annuals a quick read before running them. Wiki's order seems to be pretty fucked up so far.
>>83258209
It's no big deal, really. Just a nice jump back to fill in stuff we missed, like Wally getting the teleporter and his mom overstepping her privileges
>>83258252
Hm. I wonder if that Fan Club card is meant to show Joan running the Flash Fan Club, or if she was a member to get the newsletters about her boyfriend/husband.
>>83255677
>They probably got phased out
I'm pretty sure Millar kills one of them off in his Black Flash arc.
>>83258281
I gotta admit, I'm impressed.
>>83258510
Infinity Inc. did end on a downer.
>>83258461
Don't worry, it's no biggie. Anyway, I'm pretty sure the rest of the annuals is in the right order, it's just the first 3 that are out of order.
That's it for now, more next time
>>83259661
Thanks again, will try to stick around for the rest of this run.
>>83258737
Did she buy Plastic Man?
Thanks OP
>>83259321
That was stupid, but funny..
>>83259487
Not that it would have come up in this, but: Did Wally eventually just drift out of school after getting rich? Does he have a degree of any kind? He was studying science, but I don't think the mentioned school again after he won the lottery.
>>83257974
Holy shit, the idea of Barry being the engine of the Speed Force isn't anything new.
>>83258252
>"Jay was always so happy to be The Flash. Did I ever tell you he used to play Tennis with himself?"
That's a nice Golden Age reference.
>>83268111
some of my favorite stuff in reading this pre-Waid is all the retroactive Speed Force groundwork getting laid
>>83268111
Well, Wally got all sorts of higher tier "physics can eat my dick" powers once he started mainlining the Speed Force too, like being able to arbitrarily speed up or slow down anything, or make pants out of goes fast.
Barry doesn't need to generate the Speed Force to have ridiculous powers, he just needs to instinctively have a direct connection to it.
>>83270633
I'm talking specifically about what Tina says about Barry being some kind of living energy that purposedly made Wally's wish come true.
>>83272775
Notice how she says "he was the power source that enabled you to..."
Waid introduced the Speed Force concept, but it was Johns that estabilished that Barry actually created the Speed Force and became more than a Speedster, he became the engine that generated the Speed Force. Tina says the lightning bolt made him more than the Flash. It's clear that Johns took his inspiration from this issue.
>>83262579
Wouldn't you?
>>83274902
Yeah
>>83254605
> Very impressive. Unfortunately he knows it too.
God, I hope pre-Waid Wally is the one we'll be getting in Titans. He was so much fun.
>>83268583
Yeah, I actually JUST read the first issue of Flash Comics where he does this before reading this story time.
>>83254605
Nice
best boy bump
