Same style and tone but focused way more on the silly robot storylines and the Cluster instead of the highschool plots.
The show was way more fun when it was parodying superheroes, pulp sci-fi and classic anime like Astro Boy. There's a million school comedies out there that were funnier than MLAATR.

Honestly, I think a series is better than a movie.
I prefer some character development. Pulling characters out of one dimensional places.

I'd have a recap of the cluster invasion failing and then have Vexus come back with a smaller force but a device to fuse her with jenny taking direct control but jenny gets saved when brad jumps in front of it but melody jumps in front of brad to save him the new Vexus melody beats jenny with ease jenny is damaged and can't fly Vexus takes Nora as a hostage to try and lure Jenny out Brad and Jenny have to find Melodys father to figure out how to stop her so similar format to the cluster movie but focus on Jenny and brad in the sewers looking for Melodys dad while sheldon and tuck try to fight of vexus sheldon keeps getting upset because he thinks it's his time to shine but he keeps getting saved by tuck who just raided Nora's lab and re activated the XJ sisters to help.
