What does the future hold for Jasper?

She falls deep enough into the Earth to be prayed upon by gem shards and becomes about fusion monstrosity.
More light-hearted, she climbs her way back up and gets accepted by the melons as some sort of redemption.

You know, I think this would probably the only way a Jasper redemption arc would work for me. Seeing anything even remotely threatening being redeemed by Steven is getting pretty stale now. Having her decide to go into voluntary exile and becoming an independent third party from both the Crystal Gems and Homeworld would be a twist I wouldn't mind seeing.

Or Peridot is greatly overestimating how much Yellow Diamond cares about the occasional low-level drone rebelling. She probably just got mad enough to make a memo that this Peridot is banished from homeworld, then returned to doing more important things.

They already turned her around on seeing the merits of fusion, next they'll turn her against Homeworld's values, probably through interacting with the cluster and realising how throughly disgusting Homeworld's treatment of gem warriors who were just loyal to their cause is or something like that. Also she respected Rose Quartz's tactics, she's a muh honour warrior, so I think she might be brought around to respecting Steven as well, after all he's brave and loyal and selfless too

Because then Jasper would report back to Homeworld that the Crystal Gems and (a semblance of) Rose Quartz is still active on Earth. It's why they hid from Peridot in their initial encounters, why Jasper was surprised to see them when she landed, and why they again hid from Yellow Diamond. Right now the only interest Homeworld has with Earth is the cluster experiment, if they knew traitors and war criminals were there, and there were only a handful of them, they would launch another invasion.

Well, remember Peridot's report to Yellow Diamond, she said that her "escort and informant are missing", but omitted the part about the Crystal Gems. I don't think YD would think the humans are responsible, so it's likely assumed that Jasper has gone AWOL or something.
