Rufioh as the rogue of decision making could never make up his mind. He cheated on Damara with Horuss and when that was over he kept having an on-again off-again relationship with him. He couldn't decide what to do with his relationships.

It still would have been kind of cool to see the Beta kids face their final boss instead of fighting the Alpha kids' bosses. But each matchup made some sense.
Roxy is the protagonist of the Alpha session, so of course she's going to fight their Bec Noir equivalent. John is the protagonist and gets to fight the final boss of the combined session (and also Betty Crocker, even though he doesn't give a shit about that anymore), and Kanaya fighting for who decides the future of the troll race. Admittedly Rose doesn't have a lot of relevance here other than being close with the other three combatants.
Jake gets stuck with the Felt because Vriska writes off both the Felt and Jake as useless. But it's actually pretty cool to see Jake take out the whole gang, as led by Crowbar, and it serves as another reference to his English name. Admittedly this is actually one of the weaker matchups.
Dave and Dirk get to fight a form of Lord English, being the two closest linked kids to him. Terezi was responsible for exiling Spades Slick, giving them a history, but again, Terezi is kind of a weak link like Rose.
PM against Bec Noir doesn't need much of an explanation, nor does Jade getting involved with the dogs (except for why she didn't want Noir to die).
And Jane being the team healer makes sense because of her powers, and she gets to be involved in fighting both Betty Crocker and fighting alongside Jake.
Considering the fact that Bec Noir and PM have teleportation powers, I would have liked to see them getting mixed up in the other confrontations like Cans did.

Priorities:
- Make the Cals more balanced characters. Acknowledge and demonstrate the limitations of Calliope's enthusiasm, give Caliborn some credit as a functional member of his species.
- The two Jacks arrive as John, Roxy and Terezi are regrouping. Terezi gives her life to fight off Union Jack, while Slick ends up following John and Roxy (but not before flipping Terezi the bird and shooting at her to establish his dislike). Slick unleashes the Felt and a briefly fight ensues with them plus Davesprite. Crowbar and Roxy split things up and a truce is reached. Slick will get the Felt to show John some time-altering tricks so that he can implement Terezi's instructions, and in turn John will use his powers to "help" him in the future.
- Roxy followed Nix's instructions and successfully navigated the glitches, just enough to find Jane, Jake, Dave and Jade's corpses. She buries all four in a seperate plot from Rose.
- John successfully prevents Feferi and Tavros's death. He allows Eridan to die, and cannot intervene in Equius and Nepeta's deaths as Clover gives him a dire warning about luck or something. Tavros acts as limiters on Vriska's ego, and Fef provides insights on Meenah that gives Vriska an interest in her and (Vriska).
- Davesprite doesn't die on Lowas. He, along with the spare Nannasprite and Jaspersprite, survive in the new world and are seen in Act 7 on Earth.
- Vriska hops in the gold ship after it lands and takes Dad's stuffed corpse. She tosses this in the blue kernelsprite, giving Jane a new and interestind dad-mentor who is puzzled about why his granddaughter is young.
- John zaps Jack to a critical location in the Void shortly before returning with Roxy to the new session.
- Collide begins in largely the same way. A mysterious John appears during the bit where the Felt mob Jane and Jake and extracts Jane, the first set of Felt in tow. Jake meanwhile goes hopesplode and drives the Felt back, and summons another brainghost Dirk.

Jake however starts shooting at the other Felt and they starting brawling, and Cans knocks BGD away where he lands on Lowas. (I forgot to mention but Tavros ends up getting punted around Collide and contributes to various fights)
- The mysterious John is with Jane near the graves Roxy dug, along with Roxy's corpse from this timeline. There is also Rose's original corpse in her dark squiddle gear, the one which died to Bec Noir. Jane shoots a blast of life at Dirk and gives him "reality", then revives the other five corpses. Rose immediately goes God Tier, and then John zaps the revived heroes away. Jane then gets nabbed by Jasprosesprite and the fighting resumes.
- Lord English is far more effective in his fight against the Ghost army. Sollux contributes to the fight. Nonetheless it goes sour quickly, and he ends up choking the shit out of Aradia and Meenah while stood on Tavros and Davepeta. Spades Slick ambushes him and opens fire, the first serious injury in the fight. However Slick is repulsed by his crazy laser.
- The Condesce fight, Dogfight and Felt conflicts pan out the same way. Diamonds Droog attempts to intervene in the Derse conflicts with a drone army and Drollgorg, but Dadsprite intervenes and fights an unwitting Droog and punches robots to pieces.
- Slick gets his head cut off, but survives, his body giving one last middle finger to Union Jack as the black hole explodes into existence.
- In the pages up to Act 7, the sprites are shown amassing close to Skaia. One Nannasprite, Jaspersprite, Davepetasprite and Jasprosesprite, along with the spare ARquisprite and Erisolsprite which are shown to be alive from the pre-retcon timeline, assemble in a manner reminiscent of the Space symbol.
- Dave arrives at the platform shaking off Slick's head, which bit onto his cape. Ms Paint is there with WV, PM and Jack, and she rushes over to fetch him. Concerned looks are shared between the five of them, then Droog turns up.

Have a big fight sequence when everyone shows up, kind of like the buildup to Game Over and Game Over. Except the Beta kids have to deal with Bec Noir, and the Condesce is "killed". A bunch of people die the first time and John has to do something similar to the retcon quest, but rather than bringing back Vriska or anything stupid, he just zaps around the recent history and makes subtle changes to the Game Over fight to result in a favorable outcome. This gives John the idea of going after a young Caliborn in an attempt to retcon all the destruction he caused, once him and the other kids have mastered their powers.
The Beta kids all have to finish their quests. Once they've accomplished everything they need to do short of dropping the ring in the volcano, the Condesce returns and attacks Jade's planet with everything she's got. Ringed DD, Union Jack, Drillgorg, drone army, all of it. Spades Slick shows up with the Felt still. Big final battle of the session similar to Collide, except Spades Slick survives.
The creation of the new universe is the end of Act 6. In Act 7, Jake has mastered his hope bubble and Dirk his soul lightning, and they enact their plan to defeat Caliborn. The masterpiece occurs.

Meenah leads a ghost army recruited by Tavros to fight Lord English. When Vriska activates the Juju, the beta kids come out and fight Lord English, and trap him within the Juju. As everything within the circle around the Green Sun is being sucked into Calliope's black hole, John tries to teleport everyone out, but only ends up grabbing the other three kids, Aradia, and Sollux, as he finds out he can't return ghosts to the land of the living. All of the ghosts, as well as the House Juju that LE is trapped within, are sucked into the black hole.
Then some epilogue stuff with character interactions in the new universe, taking place both before and after the events of Act 7.

- Droog arrives with the Droll and Dad Sprite, and the two dersites set to mollifying the relationships. Dadsprite, who is wearing a special crockercop suit to stop him prototyping again, greets John, Nanna and his other self, who is chiefly hugging Jane.
- Jake has assembled the entire Felt, who are lined up and saluting him as their new and worthy master. Crowbar basically translates Jake's pomp into leprechaun charm talk, which generally goes down well.
- English is fighting solo with the other Spades Slick and winning brutally. He hasn't noticed Vriska, but stops to see Hussie's thumbs down.
- At the last minute before the flash, Davesprite arrives, leading Davepetasprite towards Skaia. He bunps Bro and Dirk and starts talking to Jade.
- Act 7. The six sprites orbiting Skaia (technically eight as two are squared sprites) head into the middle, acting like chromosome pairs during the gestation. When we are shown the new earth, it is first from space, where constellations resembling all the sprite ingredients can be seen.
- Everyone on the platform at the end is shown alive on Earth. The Jacks, Droog and Deuce are now dressed as cowboys on a ranch-farm some, Slick adapted into a robo-horse. Boxcars froths from the calendar as Ms Paint fetches scotty dog and swedish fish soup. Crowbar rides by as a sheriff on a smuppet horse. The other felt members are policemen, or work for WV as the mayor and PM as the postmistress. Dadsprite and Nannasprite accompany John, and Jasproseprite accompanies Rose and Kanaya. Davesprite is with Dave, Karkat and Jade. Fef and Tavros have fallen in love (because why not?)
- Davepeta is escorted away by Davesprite shortly before the black hole forms and Vriska activates the juju. Spade Slick middle fingers English as he is blasted.
- Caliborn drinks rainbow energy from the broken pendulum, which is shown to have been stored in the cue-ball. The dark hole forming inside it is used as a visual (cont)

Alternatively, since my described Act 7 is awkward as fuck, have John try to take out young Caliborn at any other time in Act 6 Act 6 where things are looking grim, but have the kids return immediately after leaving and don't make it quite clear what happened until the EOA6 or Act 7. Just keep the masterpiece as a claymation in A6A6A5 and show the kids leaving the house Juju in the LE fight flash, and explain the time in between that and them returning to finish the session in the epilogue.
Also I left out to make Union Jack a big deal, and make him obviously LE possessing Jack, in order to make LE somewhat more personal of a threat to the kids.The actions of Union Jack could even be the reason John tries to go back in time to assassinate young Caliborn.

Reading all of these terrible fan endings is actually kind of nice, it makes me realize that we didn't actually get the worst possible ending.

What if Hope represents options or opportunity?
Jake as the Page of Hope could make anything he believed in real. He could literally create opportunity and other options.
Eridan as the Prince of Hope destroyed the matriorb and in turn destroyed the opportunity/option for the trolls to bring their species back.
Cronus as the Bard of Hope gave up on learning magic and gave up on fighting LE. He allowed the destruction of opportunities/options by not doing anything to oppose LE.
It would also help explain why Hope players are prophesied to defeat LE as he's the ultimate destroyer of opportunities and options.
