This is what happened and happens with Teen Titans Go, nothing it does is going to bring back all of the old fans, and it honestly doesn't have to when it's fine with the viewership it has and the people working on it are fine with what they're doing.
Not to defend either shows as being good at what they do, but they both might as well do what they want and get what they get than to try too hard with something they don't want to do.
