The big problem, I think, is that Steve Rogers has barely been Captain America for the last decade. Dead, replaced by Bucky, restored for like 2 years, replaced by Sam. And now he's back again... only now there's this dumb Red Skull brainwashing arc, so he still isn't even back.
Also, reviving old supporting cast members just to abuse them for instant drama always annoys me.
I'm still mad at Brubaker for killing Jack Monroe, regardless of how good his Cap run ended up being.
