More likely would just have a ghost like existence observing and/or exploring, and not just the Earth but the rest of the solar(s) system as well. Check out the volcanoes in Io or something.
A lot of that exploring, would be intentionally keeping me busy, as to "wait it out" until technology can regenerate said limbs, of even a superhuman, and/or there are mechanical replacements of the same quality with the original.
