Please, don't suck! Please, don't suck!
Also, is 3rd season supposed to be the final one? I really hope it isn't.
>>
>>83146535
How? I though the ending of the second one was pretty damn conclusive.
>>
>>83147196
Bojack changed, but we need to see how this change affects his lifestyle and the people who surrounds him.

Also S3 was announced ages ago.

I said that about Aziz Ansari's Master of None, but there's going to be another season of that, too.

Im just prepared for everyone to finally be done with Bojack's shit
>>
>>83148408
Part of me's hoping that they go full bad-end with the finale
>>
>>83147196
The secreatry movie is over, but now he's going to start a musical.
>>
>>83146535
Here's hoping that Penny runs away from home and crashing at Bojack's, and then takes advantage of his lust for her mom
>>
>>83147196
Didn't the second season literally end on a cliffhanger with Bojack's "other show".
>>
>>83147196
Life doesn't end when you figure your shit out, now we have to see how he puts things into practice.
>>
This is the last season right?
I love the show but I don't think they could reasonably do more than three without it becoming tired.

He just commits suicide by drowning himself in his pool.
>>

No it wasn't.
>>

>>83148907
Is there any other way it could end?

>inb4 he gets with Diane
>>

>>
>>83147196

We still need our bad ending my friend. Well at best, we'll get a bittersweet ending, but this is not gonna end all sunshine and rainbows like people are hoping.
>>
>>83148907
Reminds me of people thinking Don Draper throwing himself off a building like in the Mad Men intro.

That didn't happen.

That said, how will BoJack irreparably fuck up a relationship this time?

Anyway, if you guys like sad middle aged man adventures, watch Flaked on NFLX. It has Will Arnett and is more or less comfy.
>>
This show doesn't need another season.

Not all good television needs to continue. I liked the show but DUDE I'M DEPRESSED ALL THE TIME BUT I FEEL BAD ABOUT IT INSTEAD OF DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT AREN'T I SO SELF DESTRUCTIVE? LMAO was growing tired by the end of season 2. Cynicism gets boring fast.
>>
What do you want to happen to the secondary characters? Diane's arc seems more or less done, but Peanutbutter is still an interesting cypher.

>>83150161
By that logic every franchise or series ever should just end. Everything has to stick to a basic premise, and Bojack's is "midlife crisis of a spoiled asshole". There are tons of optimistic works out there.
>>
>>83150161
The end of the previous season was pretty much the opposite of that.
>>
>>83148506
They could make him die but in the same time find peace. He could, I don't know, save someone before dying, or doing something good post mortem
>>
>>83150267

Bojack's basic premise does not lend itself to a continuing series as well as a lot of others which is what I was saying when I said it was bored with the basic premise.
>>
>>83150381
That's your problem then. There's a lot writers can do with the character study of a complete asshole, just look at The Sopranos or Mad Men.

I think we may get a failed attempted suicide this season, or possibly an accident that looks a lot like attempted suicide, but I don't think we'll get a real one.

Just try not to. Don't go deaf and blind either, because that would kind of ruin it too.

>Writer confirms that season 3 will not only have a main antagonist for Bojack but will also be really one of those really infuriating villains
I liked it better when Bojack's worst enemy was himself and having a villain ruin his life feels like it goes against what the show is about, but the show has yet to disappoint me so I won't make any assumptions until the show comes out.
>>
>>83151318
Who will it be?
>>
>>83150784
You know she won't appear again because that'd ruin the joke.
>>
>>83151352
New characters.
>>
>>83151318
I disagree.

I don't think he put it in those words. The writer said that he was going to write that there's going to be people in his life that won't care to help him or passively work against him. It's not going to be a clear cut antagonist.

It's like life.
>>
>>83149908
I can imagine bittersweet ending like
>Bojack dies, but positively influences lives of some people in the end
would fit the best
>>
>>83151618
True, but the way he said it made me interpret that that's the route they're going for, saying Bojack himself won't be what's ruining things and the new season being "frustrating".

What I got from that is it'll basically be like the Catfish director from later on season 2 except extended to a larger part of the season and story.
>>
I wasn't expecting anything until 2017, so this is a nice surprise.

Weird how cartoons these days don't change art style at all from season to season. I don't like it much.
>>
>>83151903
You don't like consistency?
>>
>>83151318

At this point I think it's fine for Bojack to have an opposing force that isnt himself, becuase the first two seasons were him just lying and sabotaging his own success. I'm sure hes still gonna have an internal conflict but now we're gonna have someone else see that he's genininely trying to improve himself and you know the sayings "no good deed goes unpunished" "it's not enough that i succeed..." etc and all that.
>>
>>83151997
To an extent. I don't mean the overall presentation, I mean I couldn't tell the difference between all 3 seasons if put next to each other. A good example is the progression of the Simpsons.
>>
>>83146535
I canceled Netflix today because no content for euros. Looks like I will resub in July.
>>
>>83146535
I just hope they don't fuck up Mr Peanutbutter's character development and return him to just being the cliched idiot he was in the first half of season 1.
>>
Yesss
I can't wait for some Bojack generals again
run them into the fucking ground for two months

I've missed you all

Netflix shows are pretty much the easiest to torrent as long as you nab them before people stop seeding.

Remember to not visit /co/ on your birthday or any day after until you watch the whole show anon unless you want the gift of spoilers.

>>

I'm not to stupid to pirate. I want to pay for good shows. Netflix was once worth the money but at the moment it isn't. I pay for one month when BJH3 is out and I will (probably) cancel it again.
>>
best running show imho.
>>
>>83150161
This is the part of the show that's most true to anxiety and depression. You don't "fix" that shit, your brain's synapses are firing at a slower rate and you can't think straight. It fucking sucks.

Any other depressing cartoons to watch?
>>
Get hyped!
>>
>>83154514
Whaaat?
I wonder what the animal version of Weird Al will be.
And could he be the "new villain"?
>>
>>83154756
Weird Al would guest star as a human, and that would be part of the joke.
>>
i kinda feel like the people who think the show will end as a downer or with Bojack killing himself are missing the point
the point isnt "bojack suck and will die" its "depression is a bitch and all your self sabotaging is plainly enough shit you do to yourself, but if you just goddamn try and stop running away it can and will get better"
and the journey is him finding that and finding his reason to stop running away. intermixed with creative comedy and poignant drama

that said i wouldn't be surprised if this was the last season. if they pull a Gravity Falls and just go "ok we're done new project"

I think I remember hearing that they were planning on five seasons. I think that would make for good pacing, too. Bojack spent two seasons going downhill. He ought to spend at least as much time clawing his way back up.

And Bojack's not going to kill himself. He's not going to get such an easy way out.
>>
>>83156086
I agree - especially as each season ending has been somewhat optimistic.
>>
>It's depressing, so it must be deep and well-written

How to spot a pleb.
>>
>>83156442
But it is well written. And relatable.

Not deep though
>>
>>83156086
I do think it would be fitting if he accidentally dies somehow at the end.

because life's a bitch.
>>
>>83154514
This guy is in every cartoon nowadays.
>>
>>83157517
thats not bad, Weird Al is great
