For me, Gal Gadot is a definite No. From a female's perspective, I think Gal Gadot is the worst to be cast as Wonder Woman. I mean, c'mon, this girl is suppose to be a decedent of a god? I'd be surprised if she could make herself some food. She's a very mediocre actress, yet she knows what she's supposed to act like...she just struggles to do so. She also lacks the superhero build and charisma. She's very 'bleh' and feels so...dull.
When I hear that she apparently wants to make women feel empowered, I also laugh. Her roles show the exact opposite, and her modelling career makes her as cookie-cutter as any other model in a magazine. I really want to like Gal, really, but she's not Wonder Woman. She'd be better if she were in "300" or something like that, but she's no Wondy.
My normie friends called her thin as shit. And she is. I honestly think that Gal Gadot eats as less as possible. You have to TRY to be that thin. My friends also thought that she did a good job acting, but she just didn't act like a real Wonder Woman. Over all, they thought she was wooden--but kinda like her.

Traditionally, she's about the same age as Batman or Superman, which is the way I prefer it.
In the old LC show and in the DCEU, she is already thousands of years old. Pretty sure she's thousands of years old in WW: Earth One as well, though she seems biologically and mentally to be in her early adulthood (like, 18 years old - early 20's or so).
I dislike the direction they're going for the DCEU. I see no real reason of making her as old as they have made her already, like 5000 years old. I think they're only doing it to differentiate between her and the other two members of the Trinity, plus it doesn't even make sense really.

In all versions of the character, she is super fast, super strong, super agile, has super endurance, and has combat experience and training that comes from being raised by a bunch of Amazons. Plus being able to wield a variety of weapons, and then there's her Lasso of Truth, her bracelets, etc. Basically think a weaker Superman but with greater martial arts ability and a few unique toy.

No. The WW in BvS ruined the hype for me. Why is she flying in commercial airline? WW never had any good representation in the recent years. The comics sucks. The WW in animated films is brainless. Then you can have multiple versions of the character, the older, more experienced soldier, the elder matron, all Wonder Woman and not Wonder Woman.
